When he comforts you - Cole

Cole nearly fell off his bed when you slammed the door to his room open in tears.
"Y/n!" He said in surprise "what's going on? Why are you-?"
He didn't get the chance to finish his sentence, because you were already crushing him in a tight hug, sobbing.
"My m-mom." You stuttered "she called me, a, a mistake! She says that she wished I turned out more like her. She asked me why I couldn't be perfect!"
Cole knew very well that your mother was still sore over the whole you-rejecting-ballet thing. It was your mom's dream that you would follow in her footsteps, but when she found out you preferred a different dancing style, she became cold and distant.
This wouldn't he the first time you've cried over something she's said.
That made Cole mad. Didn't she see she was hurting her daughter?
Cole had Bern there for you on all your bad days. And he wasn't about to stop now.
With out a word, he sat both of you down, and pulled you on to his lap, rubbing your shoulder comfortingly.
"Don't listen to your mom!" He told you, wiping away your tears with his other hand. "Who cares what she thinks! She's not half the dancer you are. She's never even seen you dance!"
"That's not what it's really about Cole." You sniffed. "She's my own mother, and she's completely disowned me. And it hurts knowing that I'll never make her happy enough."
"Bullshit." Cole said, jumping to your defense. "She shouldn't need you to be a ballet dancer to make her happy. Having the privilege of you being her daughter should be enough."
Though you stopped crying at this point, you were still upset. Your mother said such awful things about you.
And even threw in the fact that you were dating a "violent neanderthal who plays with sharp, pointy things."
Why couldn't she except you for you?
Cole made you smile, however, at his next choice of words.
"Pick your head up Princess, your crown is slipping."
Shaking a little with suppressed laughter, you look up at him with your red and swollen e/c eyes.
"That sounded so Tumblr it's not even funny."
He shrugged, a cheeky grin on his face.
"Anything to see you smile."

Two test tomorrow.

Procrastination.

So much procrastination.

And Christmas......

I GET IT'S A FREAKING FANTASTIC HOLIDAY, BUT WE HAVEN'T STUFFED THE TURKEY YET, LET ALONE STOCKINGS!

AND I'M CONTRADICTING MYSELF BECAUSE I'M GETTING MY ROOM DECORATIONS OUT.

I can't resist *~* they're so sparkly and festive.

On a Percy Jackson related note......

Have you guys heard about the Percy Jackson amino? I have it, and it's awesome. It's an app where you can post things, blogs, polls, things like that, and just be with the demigod community. And it's not the only one with an amino. I'm also a member of the Miraculous lady bug amino.

There's different ones EVERYWHERE!!!! Harry Potter, Fairy Tail, if it's a popular show or book, it most likely has an amino.
