You have his powers for a day - Jay

"Okay...... So the toaster exploded." Jay concluded, looked at the melted remains. You smiled sheepishly.
"Well, at least the toast is cooked all the way." You pointed to a pile of black ash.
"Silver linings." The ninja muttered, still looking at the steaming junk of melted metal.
"It's not my fault your powers include blowing stuff up with electricity!"
"Technically, they're your powers right now. Not mine. So it's your fault."
Damn him and his logic.
"That toaster was old anyway." Your hands were still tingling from the lightning that came from them earlier. Lightening was cool and all, but accidentally blowing house hold appliances wasn't your ideal way to spend your time.
And you really wanted toast that wasn't cinders.
"I should probably teach you to control your powers for the time being. I don't want you frying the whole city."
"I wouldn't fry the whole city!" You exclaimed, at the same time bolts of lighting flew off of you. Jay ducked as the microwave door flew off, and the blender met the same fate as the microwave.
Jay gave you a look over the counter he took refuge behind.
"Maybe half of the city?" You asked embarrassed, trying to put out the tiny flame in your hair.
