You try to sneak out - Cole

"Okay, I'll admit.... this didn't go as planned." You said to your dad's disapproving face. "But I knew you wouldn't let me leave. And this was for a school project I have-"
"I'm more concerned about the fact that you tried sneaking out when everyone was awake." Your dad waved your project off, and your jaw dropped.
"Wait, what?"
"It was like you were trying to get caught." Your dad gestured to your open window. "And are you trying to kill yourself? The window is the last option you choose."
You swore you swallowed a few flies as your dad explained the art of sneaking out. You were so not expecting this.
After he finished, you looked at him, clueless as to what just happened. "So, you're not mad?"
Your dad scoffed. "No. I used to sneak out to see your mom all the time back in the day. I'd be a hypocrite to be mad."
Your mom wouldn't have seen it that way. She would've strangled you.
"Anyway, I hoped you learned something." He started walking out of your room, then turned back and added. "Oh, and you're grounded."
"What? I thought you weren't mad!"
"Oh I'm not." Your dad smiled. "But what kind of dad would I be if I let my daughter hang out with her boyfriend so late? Next time, don't get caught. Maybe then I'll think about not grounding you." Your dad left, closing the door behind him.
He left you with the thought that what he just said made no sense.

My dad: now Heart, no cursing.

My dad: *spills milk*

My dad: #@$$/#&!@@!!!!!

My dad is a hypocrite.
