When you go back to school - Cole

Should I do a one shot book? I already have this and a Kai X Reader, but I kinda want to do a one shot book.....

Cole didn't want to be one of those boyfriends.
The ones who suffocate their girlfriend and never give them any space. He didn't want you to think that he needed you by him all the time.
But when he heard the new school year was coming, he freaked out. Big time.
You spent almost everyday together for the whole summer. He never really thought about you going back to school. Just thinking about it made him sad.
So when you asked him to go school shopping with you, he was a little......grumpy.
You noticed this right away when you were jumping for a pack of mechanical pencils that were placed to high for you to reach.
Cole grabbed them, and slammed them into the cart, only to put his hands back in his hoodie pocket and pull his hood on with a brooding look.
You raised your eyebrow at him.
"Is there something wrong?"
"Nothing." He grumbled. "I'm fine."
At the check out, you bought a bar of chocolate and when you were in the car, you gave it to Cole.
"What do I need this for?" He asked.
"Because someone is pmsing and it's definitely not me." You huff, arms crossed.
That got him to smile a little.
"Seriously though, what's wrong? You've been acting like this all week. It's kind of like having Bat-Man as a boyfriend to be honest."
Cole sighed, resting his forehead against the steering wheel.
"I've been acting crazy because I don't want you to go to school." He confessed. "With school five times a week, and a two day weekend, how are we going to spend time together? You'd probably would like to hang out with your friends."
"What friends?" You joke. Cole cracked a smile.
"I'm serious though. I don't go to school. I couldn't even if I wanted to. I just don't see how we could have time with together with you at school.
"Well" you said, shifting in your seat. "Think of it this way. You have a duty to protect Ninjago city, and I have a duty to go to school. There were times when you couldn't make time for me because you were training or on a mission. So this isn't really that different. Yeah, I'll be busier with homework and studying and stuff, but I'll always make time for you Cole. Just like you do for me." You say that last part quietly, blushing a little.
Cole leans over and pecks your cheek.
"Thank you." He says, and leans back to start the car.
"Well, it's one of your last days of freedom." He adds, pulling out of the parking lot. "What do you want to do?"
"Netflix and Ice cream?"
"Whatever you say."

I'm updating a lot recently......
I don't even know why. I'm updating more than I did over the summer XD
