You wished you went on double dates more often. Nya and Jay were fun to hang out with, and it was a nice break having a girl to talk to.
You were all sitting outside a cafe, Jay almost choking on his muffin when you asks him how long he was going to wait to propose to Nya.
"So the other night, Lloyd walks down the hall." Nya said "and it's two in the morning, and he's in nothing but his boxers. So he comes in to my room and starts screaming at my window." The water ninja chuckled a little. "And he walked out and fell asleep on the training course. He was asleep the whole time.."
You laughed, shaking your head. It was probably all that sugar he ate that made him sleep walk. His brain was most likely still jumping around after he went to sleep.
"That's more weird than Cole's Nicholas Sparks obsession. His closet is full of his books and movies-" you cut your self off when you seen the look Cole have you. One that said to, stop talking, please please please stop talking.
But it was too late. Jay and Nya had already heard.
The lightning ninja looked fascinated. "A Nicholas Sparks obsession? Please, do tell."
You smiled nervously at your embarrassed boyfriend, who was fifty shades of red, and then some.
"Uh, how about we discuss..... plants!" You tried changing the subject. "Photosynthesis, am I right. Crazy, crazy stuff."
Needless to say, that was probably the last double date you'd go on with Jay and Nya.

I actually do like some of Nicholas Sparks' movies. The Last Song is probably my favorite. And Safe Haven.

I have never really read one of his books before though.....
