"So you're telling me this place is supposedly haunted." You said slowly, and Cole nodded.
"Apparently a maid was murdered here a while ago. They say she still haunts the halls."
"Why are we staying in a haunted hotel again?"
"Because Jay thought it was cool, and wouldn't shut up."
You and Cole weren't alone . Jay and Nya were with you, and were trying to get a room with four beds at the front counter.
"Great. A rainy Halloween and a stay at a fake haunted hotel." You said, looking out the window at the raging storm outside.
"Its really haunted, I'm telling you y/n."
"Bad news guys" Nya said, walking towards you two with Jay. "We got a room with two beds. Me an y/n will have to share, and the boys will share the other."
"Yeah, but there's good news too! We got the room where the maid was murdered!" Jay fanboyed excitedly.
Of course you did.
"And I even brought my Ouji board!" Jay said, rummaging threw his bag.
Of course he did.

Jay and Cole sat on their bed, and tried contacting the dead maid with the Ouji board. But after thirty minutes of nothing, they gave up.
"I told you." Nya said, typing away on her laptop. "Why don't we all go to bed?"
"Man, I was hoping that would work." Jay whined.
"Worst Halloween ever." Cole said dejectedly.
"Told you so." You said in a sing song voice. Cole stuck his tongue out at you.
Jay turned the lights out, and you all laid down and tried to get some sleep.
An hour later, you were still awake, the rain and thunder was too loud.
You heard a knock on the door.
Who would be knocking on the door at this hour?
With no one else up to answer it, you got out of bed, careful not to wake Nya.
Tip toeing to the door, you opened it quietly and saw a cleaning maid there. At first, you thought she was wearing a costume. A knife was in her chest, and blood covered her other wise white clothes. It all could be easily fake. But when you saw her face, her empty eye sockets, rotting skin, and brittle teeth.
She smiled horribly, and you felt frozen on the spot.
"House keeping."
Slamming the door while screaming, you ran and jumped on top of Cole's sleeping figure. He sat up, almost throwing you off the bed.
"Y/n! What's the matter? What's going on?"
"Yeah y/n, what's the big idea?" Jay asked, sitting up.
"She was there! She knocked on the-she said-the ghost is outside the door!"
"What?" Nya asked, crossing the room. She opened the door.
No one was there. "Y/n, what are you talking about?" Nya said, worried.
You shook your head, refusing to say anything.
To this day, you still refuse to talk about it.

It siriusly took me three hours to write this.

But I still have three more to go!
