When you're ill - Lloyd

"Lloyd... I think that's enough get well soon candy." You said, looking at the growing mound on the hospital floor. It reached the guard rail now.
"Pft." He dumped an arm full of skittle packets onto the pile. "That's not even half of it." The green ninja said proudly. You believed him. Underneath his bed on the bounty was a freaking ocean of candy. The infamous "super secret candy stash".
"Lloyd, I'm grateful and all,but candy isn't the best thing for someone with the flu." You said, pulling up the itchy white blanket a nurse gave you. Your mom took you to the hospital last night because you wouldn't stop throwing up. Turns out, you had the stomach flu. They decided to keep you for a couple days, just to be careful and to make sure you stopped throwing up. When Lloyd found out, he went hysterical. He nearly fell off the ship from running around in panic.
So now, here he was, playing dominoes with the hundreds of starbursts he had piled in with at least twenty different kinds of candy.
"I know you can't eat these yet." Lloyd said, knocking over the colorfully wrapped candy. "But it's here for when you can." Lloyd took a hold of one of your hands. "I'm not planning on leaving either. I'm staying for as long as you are, promise!"
The determination in his green eyes would've made you blush if you weren't already flushed red from sickness.
The door to your room opened, and there stood a surprised nurse. She looked at Lloyd then at you, then down at the tray in her hands filled with medicine and your dinner. "Visiting hours are over, sir." She said politely. "You should be going now."
Lloyd narrowed his eyes, and stood.
"I think I can handle taking care of my girlfriend. You can take the rest of the day off."
The nurse scowled. "You don't have the authority-"
But Lloyd was already taking the tray out of her hands and h
Nudging her out the door gently.
He closed the door, and turned to you, grinning mischievously.
"Hungry?"

I bet you guys think I'm going to do an April fools prank. I'm not.

Or maybe I'm luring you into a false sense of security.

Maybe I'm waiting for the right time to strike.

Maybe I'll prank you when you least expected it.
