When he gives you a cute nickname - Jay

Your parents had practically passed out the first time Jay referred to you as Bambi.
You weren't expecting it either. You almost dropped your dinner plate.
Since when was calling you Bambi a thing?
You asked him that exact question the next day.
"Since I decided it was." He answered.
"You almost gave my parents heart attacks. Then, after you left, they started shaking me and saying how adorable our relationship is."
"We are pretty adorable...."
"Not the point." You said flatly.
"What is the point then?" The blue ninja asked. "Do you not like it?"
"No, it's not that."
"I just thought it fit you. You have these really big, beautiful eyes. You reminded me of Bambi. Therefore, I decided your nickname is Bambi."
You blinked at him. He's never said anything about your eyes before, at least not that you could recall.
"Your eyes are the most noticeable thing about you. That's why I never look you directly in the eye. They're distracting."
That was both the weirdest and sweetest sentence ever.
But instead of saying that, all that comes out is a confused "What?"
Jay laughs. "You're just as cute as Bambi, too."
