Heatwave - Zane

"So hot. Feels like I'm breathing molten metal. Gonna die." You fell over dramatically. "Tell my mom I told her to turn on the air conditioner."
And then you "died."
Zane stared down at you questionably.
"Is it really that hot?" He asked. Just like that you sat up, like someone shocked you.
"Yes! Can't you feel it?" You both were in your backyard, sitting under the shade of a tree. It was still humid, even then. You seriously had a love hate relationship with summer.
You placed your palm against Zane's cheek, and yelped in surprised at the coldness.
"Why are you so cold?" That must be why the temperature didn't affect him.
The white ninja shrugged. "Maybe my elemental powers are acting like a natural cooler due to the extreme heat."
You pouted. "I wish I could do that. That would save me from dying every two seconds because of the heat."
Wait.... You couldn't do that..... But your boyfriend can.
You hugged him and felt like you were hugging a ice cube.
It was amazing.
"Y/n... what are you doing?"
"Surviving. Duh."
He didn't argue, just hummed in amusement and pulled you closer.
