I AM SO EXCITED FOR THANKSGIVING!!!!!

"Come on y/n, open up." Jay said, knocking on your door again.
You didn't answer. At this point, he didn't really expect you to.
Your mom had called him over, telling him that you and your best friend had been arguing, and you haven't color out of your room for three days. It was the first he was hearing about it, since he's been on a mission for the last week. She figured that if he was here, you would talk to him.
He really wished you would. If anyone knew about fighting with their best friend, it was him.
Though, that wasn't an area of expertise that he was exactly proud of. He regretted the fight he and Cole had.
"Y/n, please." Jay begged. "You know you can come to me for anything, right?"
It was still silent.
Jay sighed, and put his forehead against your door.
Then, he had an idea. He grinned. This always got your attention.
"If you don't answer, I'll start singing Maroon 5 off key." He threatened. He remembered this one time when you both were in his car, and he started singing this song. You'd laugh for an hour.
Still nothing.
He cleared his throat.
"I DON'T MIND SPENDING EVERY DAY SOMETHING SOMETHING SOMETHING SOMETHING SOMETHING AND SHE WILLLLLL BE LUVVVED, AND SHE WILLL-"
You open your door, and Jay stops his awful parrot screeching singing.
Despite the sad look on your face, you smiled a little, though you didn't laugh.
"You're a goof, you know that?"
Before you could even blink, your boyfriend moved past you and closed the door behind him.
Leaning against it, he demanded "Talk."
You folded your arms.
"This is just something between me and b/f/n."
"Bull shit y/n." He frowned "you've been locked in your room for three days. This is a boyfriend matter." You scoffed.
"No. It's not. It's what I decide it to be. And it's none of your business!"
"Y/n-"
"Jay."
You both stared at each other for a moment, then Jay threw his hands up in exasperation.
"You can't handle everything by yourself."
"I never said I did-"
Jay held up a hand. "Y/n, if anyone knows about fighting with their best friend, it's me. Cole and I duked it out over Nya for the longest time. We forgave each other, yeah, but it hurt to fight with some one you thought you were so close to. I don't care if you don't want to share with me right now, but understand that I understand. You shouldn't be pushing me away. I want to help!"
You hung your head. "I'm sorry Jay. I know you know what it feels like. I don't mean to push you away, I've just had-"
"A bad day?" He finished.
You nodded as he sighed.
"Is there anything I can do to make your day suck less?" He asked, trying to lighten the mood with humor.
You threw your arms around him, and he stumbled. He didn't expect you to almost tackle him.
"You don't need to do anything." You told him "You being here is enough. You make me feel better in your own Jayish way."
He chuckled. "I try. Now, do you mind telling me what happened....?"
For a moment, you were silent. He was afraid you weren't going to tell him after all. The you finally spoke.
"She's spreading things about me." You whisper, your best friends betrayal was still raw. "Because she's jealous of all the attention I'm getting as your girlfriend. But she doesn't understand: I don't want it. I don't want to be defined as your girlfriend."
Jay nodded in understanding.
"Nya didn't either."
You groaned "please don't compare me to your ex."
"Right. Sorry. Now, what happened? Tell me from the beginning."

OKAY, SO HERE IS MY PLAN

Due to Thanksgiving being so freaking busy for me (seriously, I have to cook all the deserts, which I'm not complaining about, and then I have my family here too.) I won't be updating on Thanksgiving exactly. It will be more day before and days after, or maybe a couple hours after everyone leaves  (unless my cousins spend the night)

SO I am here to tell you what I am thankful for.

1. Fantastic Beasts (I'm sorry, but if you're a Harry Potter fan, and you have not watched this movie, you MUST)

2. YOU GUYS OF COURSE. People who leave comments that are encouraging or just so sweet  make me smile so much. My family doesn't even know I write on Wattpad so every time I smile like a freaking maniac they look at me like I'm crazy....
And it's just so amazing that I have wonderful people like you guys to read my work. Let me tell you guys, these may be one shots, but it takes me like, thirty minutes to write one (I go back, correct, re word things etc.) So yeah. You golden hearts are a thing I'm thankful for.

3. Mi familia.

4. Every single writer, wattpad or not, that inspired me to write. I aspire to be a writer someday.

5. The fact that I have people both online and in real life that will deal with my crazy ass.
