BG and Cheyenne arrive at Roberts parents house. There are cars everywhere and people had spilled out onto the lawn and driveway. As she gets out people hug her and she makes introductions to everyone. She sees a lot of the looks BG is getting because of his tattoos. It makes her mad that people just assume based on appearance. BG had become Roberts best friend and she was so thankful for that even if he was her friend first. A lot of her co workers had pulled in and they were helping her laugh by telling stories and of course Donna got to talking with Liz and they kept it rolling right along. BG's phone goes to ringing it was Kolby and he tells Cheyenne that he was going back to meet them at the hotel and give the guys their keys. Cheyenne got the phone and asked had they eaten and Kolby said they were after they checked in. She told him to forget that just to come to Roberts parents house that they had plenty of food. Kolby told her he would see her in 15minutes. Cheyenne hands BG back his phone and grins. He just shakes his head and smiles at her. The look on Cheyenne's face turns to one of horror and BG asks what's wrong ? Cheyenne tells him to call Kolby back and tell him to tell the guys to not get offended that a lot of the people will judge them but that she loves them and loves that they are here. BG just laughs and tells her that they don't care what anyone else thinks as long as her and the kids think they are cool everything will be fine.
Kolby pulls up pulling the trailer that Hoss is in and Cheyenne runs to meet the band, amidst disapproving looks from her in laws and their friends. She didn't care because Robert would have been happy to see them all just like Cheyenne was. The kids went running to hug them all and the noise level just got louder when they opened the trailer and Brody, Colt and Ace got a good look at Hoss.
Robert's mom came out and got onto them saying how they were being disrespectful of the dead and that was it Cheyenne turned around and told her to put a sock in it. Robert loved these people and called them family and wanted a celebration of his life not a sad boring time. Robert's sister Gina just smiled and asked who everyone was. Cheyenne made introductions all around and they pulled out chairs and sat around telling stories about their own experiences of Robert. Sierra does her best dad impression when he got aggravated and had everyone laughing. Then Ellie tells her favorite dad corny jokes. They share a sense of humor. Ace tells of how he took him hunting and fishing and how no matter what was going on he was always there for games and practices. Both girls started talking about how they knew he couldn't have enjoyed their cheer competitions but he always gave up a day of hunting to watch them. Sierra talked about the Saturdays he gave up for 5 years to take her to pitching lessons. Sierra starts to cry and Colt pulls her into his lap. Sierra looks at Cheyenne and asks did I dissapoint dad when I didn't pursue college ball after I was told that I had people interested? Cheyenne gets up and hugs Sierra and takes her face in her hands and tells her no you didn't dissapoint dad. He was so proud of you for following your dreams and proud of you and Colt. Cheyenne then looks to Ellie and tells her that Robert was so proud of her and all that she had accomplished so far. Then she walks to Ace and tells him that his dad was proud of him not just because of his academic success or his athletic success but he was most proud of his stand for Christ and his accepting the call to preach at such an early age. She then looks to everyone in the circle and tells us that we have all played a role in Roberts life and this is exactly what he wanted. The stories and the love that was shown here tonight. She thanked everyone for coming but said that it was very late and she had a long day starting very early and it was time to go considering that it was 2 am. We all got up thanked his parents and told them how great a man their son was to us. I rolled Hoss out of the trailer gave Ben my keys to the truck and told Cheyenne to come on. I cranked up my badass bike up steadied it while Cheyenne got on and off we went to the hotel. I could fell her let loose and relax as we rode. She is a natural on a bike I need to teach her to drive one so she could do this when I wasn't around. She let go of my waist and held her arms out to the side wide open and laughed. This girl is crazy but she's my kind of crazy.
