Chapter 34

As Cheyenne walks off with silent tears rolling down her face she thinks about Robert and how much he wanted to be here today and how proud he was of his son. She thinks of how B always knows when she needs him or how she knows when he needs her and that scares her. She knows she loves B he's family but her heart leaped when she put her eyes on him today. The way she felt like she was home when he was holding her. Those almost felt like romantic feelings and that was crazy. She never expected to feel like that again she had that with Robert. She was also 11 years older than him. She was going to have to shut those thoughts down and had to walk away to get herself together.

BG watched as she walked off she asked for a few minutes but everything in him says to go after her. Kolby walks up and asks what did you do now? B tells him that he has no idea. She just asked for a few minutes. Kolby tells him to tell him what happened before she wanted a few minutes, so BG tells him. Kolby asks what is the deal about the picture and B tells him that he can't go into that because it was between a husband and a wife. Kolby let it go but asks him what was up with the growl when they walked up. BG looks at him like he has lost his mind did you now see that guy with his hands all over Cheyenne? Kolby laughs and tells BG bro you might want to talk to Cheyenne and see if she feels the same way before you go staking claim and marking your territory. Kolby laughs when BG tells him that he was doing what he promised Robert. Yeah just keep telling yourself that till you believe it. Ben walks up and asks what's up and Kolby asks him if anyone had Saturday in the pool Ben says what time and Kilby says 8pm put me in that slot wait make it 10 pm it may take hard head here that long to figure it out. BG asks what they were talking about and Ben says the pool everyone has placing bets when you and Cheyenne will make it official? BG says our song release ? We are planning on doing it at the bonfire but she don't know it yet. Ben laughs and Kolby is bent over hanging on the fence, no man when are you and Cheyenne gonna realize that y'all have feelings for each other. BG gets mad and said y'all are crazy. Ben responds with what about the growl today? What about how she lit up and ran into your arms? How she's making her way back now and is glaring at the lady that is making eyes at you that you haven't even noticed yet? Think about BG, you and her are good together. You know what the other needs before they do. We all see it her kids see it. When are you to gonna see it?
About that time Janie stops Cheyenne and says are you okay you look like you could kill someone. Cheyenne tells her that she is fine just an emotional day already. Janie nods and asks if it has anything to do with that lady that keeps moving toward BG making eyes at him letting him know she's interested. Cheyenne says he is a grown man and is free so why would she care. Jamie laughs yeah right I saw you this morning when you saw him after he growled at Jake. You went running and jumped in his arms. Jake has stayed clear of you since then because he knows when a man is making claim on a woman. Janie you need to get under the tent the heat has already gotten to you. Why can't you and him see what everyone including your children see? You and BG are good together, you know when the other needs something before they do. Well if I'm being honest Janie I am42 years old he's 31 and I can't give him what he wants most in this world and that is a family of his own. So no it won't be happening because I love him to much to let him settle for less than what he deserves. But I can keep that rode hard and put up wet slut from getting any closer if you will excuse me. Janie watches as Cheyenne heads straight to BG.

Kolby, Ben and BG are still talking about Cheyenne when the lady Ben said was making eyes at BG saunters up to them. She asks for an autograph and BG gives it to her. She places her hand on his arm and asks could he sign her body so she can get it tattooed on her Kolby and Ben just laugh but stop and motion to BGs back he turns around and Cheyenne is standing there and she was fuming mad. She pulls BG back and gets in between them and tells the lady that she has her autograph and needs to be moving along that BG is there to watch his godson. The lady doesn't get the hint and it gets ugly, Cheyenne tells her that apparently she has been rode hard and put up wet one to many times that it has went to her brain, that there was no way that BG was putting his signature on any part of her body because she didn't want him to catch something that Ajax couldn't remove and if he put his signature on any woman to be tattooed it would be her. So if she didn't want it to her any uglier best thing she could do was leave. As the lady walked off she mumbles stuck up bitch he ain't with an ugly washed up fat woman like you anyway you must be one of his moms friends. That was all it took for BG, he stopped her and said excuse me I know that being my fan that you didn't just disrespect me and my girl here. She started stuttering and said I'm sorry. BG told her it wasn't him she needed to apologize to and she looked at Cheyenne and said I'm sorry. Cheyenne came back with I know he's a good looking man and everyone thinks he's single but it is a long story and sometimes he wants to keep things private because it's personal. She nods her head and walks off.
Cheyenne turns around looks at the three men and says not a word do you hear me. And leans on the fence watching the events. BG calls her name, she tells him that she said not a word . He drops his head and his body is shaking from laughing Kolby and Ben lose it and are hanging on the fence laughing when Ace runs up and give Cheyenne his phone cause he's about to run. He asks what's so funny and Kolby looks at him and said to ask his momma. She glares at Kolby Ace looks at Cheyenne and asks mom what did you do? Which makes them all bust out laughing again only this time BG is laughing out loud. Cheyenne looks at them and says it isn't funny. Ben says yes it is you should have seen your face and then hers when you told her that she had been rode hard and put up wet one too many times that it has destroyed her brain cells. Kolby pipes in or when you told her you were afraid that she would get something Ajax wouldn't take off and then BG pipes in it that you would be the only woman sporting my signature tattooed on their body. Ace busts out laughing at this and say mom you didn't did you. Cheyenne looks at him and said yes I did son and I'm sorry but she had gotten his autograph and then asks for him to sign her body I mean there are kids all around . Some people have no shame anymore. That comment they all rolled. Cheyenne said well it will be all over that we are dating because of what you did B. Ace stopped and asked Kolby and Ben told him and he looked at BG said good job B thanks for taking care of my mom. So does this mean you two realize that y'all should be together? If not can you wait till after my game I've got 10pm tonight in the pool. Cheyenne and BG looked at Ace and Kolby and Ben laughed and said we will let you three talk and they walk off. Cheyenne said Ace I don't think you understand I love your dad. Ace looked at both of them and said mom I do understand and so did Dad. He wanted you to be open to love and life and you promised. You guys love each other and we all see it why can't y'all ? BG I know you love my mom and her kids so what is keeping you , the fact that you aren't legally divorced or the fact dad was your best friend and had been gone a month. Love doesn't know time or circumstances love only knows who it belongs to. Now I have to run, so please just think about what I said please. And you have mine Sierra and Ellie's blessing,also Kolbys and Momma Beckys . Just think about it. Ace hugs BG and then Cheyenne and she tells him to run hard.
