Chapter 30

Amber POV

I cannot believe that Brantley just walked out on me. I knew he would be upset but really I never thought he would be that mad. I meant it though if he walked out I would file for divorce. I haven't heard anything from him though usually he gets mad and rides and comes back but it's 7:00am and I haven't heard anything. I guess I will make something up to tell Kolby and Momma Becky at church this morning. I want to call Cheyenne and ask her if she has heard from him but that will make me so mad if she has and he hasn't bothered to tell me that he is okay . So I guess I will get ready and go to church but tomorrow morning first thing I am going to talk to my lawyer and file for divorce we will just see what Mr Country Music Superstar has to say about that when he gets served at the label on Monday.

Cheyenne's POV

I wake up to my alarm going off at 8am knowing I have to get up and fix breakfast for me and Ace before church so I hit my phone and pick it up. B sent a text saying he made it to Nashville and would let me know when he needed me. Oh crap! What have I done, it all comes flooding back that as I was half asleep I agreed to sing on his record. I'm going to kill him he knew that I was half asleep and he made me agree to it. Ugggh that man he is in for it. But after what he has done for me that is the least I could do for him. Now to get up and get this day started.

Kolbys POV

What the crap is this text from BG? Why did he go to Nashville last night? This can't be good on 1 of 2 fronts. It either has something to do with the label or with Amber. I know he had a meeting tomorrow with the label so I'm betting it has something to do with Amber. I can't wait to see what she has to say at church when I ask her about it. I'm gonna drive by B's house to see if the bike is there that way I know that he at least went home before going to Nashville. Aha bike is home so he's in the truck, gonna text Cheyenne to see if she knows what's up if he told anyone it would be her.

K- Chey did you get moved in yesterday okay
C- Yeah we did and getting ready to head to church what about you make it back to the farm okay?
K- I made it to momma's cause she wanted us both to come home since we had been gone all week. Have you talked to B?
C- Okay sounds like you will be well fed if I know momma Becky😜
K- You are so right on that one. What's going on with B?
C- I don't know just that at 1am he was headed to Nashville or well he was at 2am when I talked to him. Said he didn't want to talk about it right then. That he would tell me later.
K- okay I got a text saying he had made it okay and where he was staying
C- yeah he sent me that info too. I'm thinking something happened with him and Amber last night. But he did tell me that he would talk to me today about it.
K- well if you hear from him let me know okay I'm a little worried about him.
C- same thing Kolbs, also has he said anthing about his label wanting him to have a female on his next album?
K- yeah told him he had to but that he could pick who it was. Did he con you into it?
C- yeah last night when I was about half asleep he asked me and of course not thinking I said yes. I'm gonna kill him! But wait the label has to agree and I can get out of it because I can sing off key when I go.
K- Don't think that will work cause Ben has video footage of you singing B's song at Karaoke Friday night. And FYI he sent it to the label and they loved you. Part of his meeting is about you a deal tomorrow. So get ready to pack a bag looks like you have to go to Nashville pretty soon.😂😂😂
C- If you talk to B tell him he might want to protect the family jewels next time he sees me. So not fair🤔🤔
K-😂😂 I will give him the message. Love you got to get into church😘
C- love you too talk to you later😘

As I walk in Momma looks up and gets up to hug me. Amber does the same. I look at her and ask where BG is and she told me that he wasn't feeling good this morning so he's at home resting cause he has to leave for Nashville later. She said he was really tired when he got in late last night. I just looked at momma during this whole conversation. After church was over, Amber said she was going home to check on B and spend some time before he left. We told her goodbye. I got in my truck and headed to momma's. As I walk in momma is getting her phone and I know exactly who she is calling B.she asks B what is going on cause she knows something in cause Amber just lied to us in the church house. She tells B to hold on so she can put him on speaker phone.
M- go ahead it's Kolby and me her

B- I really don't know momma only that things were great when I got home. We ate and talked and then later Amber asked if I wanted to start a family and I told her yes and then is when she dropped the bond that has blown my world apart, that if I wanted kids I had to quit touring. I told her I had already thought about that and I would only tour during the summers and school breaks other than an occasional one here or there. Then she tells me no more touring at all. I told her I wasn't giving up my music. So she looked at me and said no family that she was tired of coming in second to my music, fans and family. So I told her that it wasn't going to happen and I walked out, told her when I got back Monday night from Nashville that we would talk some more but that I was to pissed to talk to her now. As I was walking out the door she told me that if I left she was getting a divorce on Monday. I hope she has had time to think about it and has changed her mind but I haven't talked to her. She had last night all planned,'y favorite meal sex and then bombshell.

K- That bitch how dare she do that to you right after we buried Robert but that was a part of her plan too wasn't it B ?

M- baby I'm so sorry. Whatever you need just let me know.

B- Yeah I think she has been planning this for a while Kolbs. I told her she was there for my money that she lied when she said her vows to me. Have you heard from Chey today? She was having a tough night last night or this morning and I was afraid to call in case she was still sleeping.

K- yeah and she told me to tell you to protect the family jewels that you took advantage of her this morning.

B- yeah I kinda did but it's gonna be great to have her singing with me

M- what how did you get her to do that baby

B- she was having trouble sleeping so I sing to her and when she got sleepy I asked and she agreed. What I didn't tell her she will have to do some tour dates and shows to promote it before and after the release.

M- Call her now and tell her all this otherwise you have done to her what Amber has done to you.

B- okay momma and I'm sorry I dissapointed you

M- what are you talking about

B- If Amber files for divorce or if I do. I don't think I can live with her knowing what I know now about how she feels about my music.

M- You don't dissapoint me B now that hussy does. Did you tell Cheyenne?

B- no not yet momma I was going to tell her later.

M- okay you need to that girl loves you and cares about you and will stand by you to help you get through it

B- yeah I know momma love you Angel

M- love you to baby
