Chapter 71

At the bar the guys are on their way to getting drunk and hooking up when BG and Cheyenne walk in. They wave them over and the waitress comes to get their drinks and they both say water. She said good deal I'm glad they won't be driving. They all laugh at her words and said no ma'am they won't. Cheyenne says do you mind if I go dance and he grins and says go ahead I'll join you in a minute babe. She makes her way to the dance floor and is lost in the music. BG watches her for a while and Ben sits beside him and said you did good today BG. She needed that and BG said no I needed that. She let me mourn the loss of my friend while she mourned the loss of her husband. Ben hit him and said man hold your temper but you need to get to the dance floor. BG looked and saw a guy zeroed in on Cheyenne making his way toward her. He got up and slipped in behind her and placed his hands on her waist and as they begin to grind the guy grabbed BG's arm and said that's my woman. BG grinned at him and said you are mistaken she came with me she's leaving with me. No she had been here alone I have been watching her for a while. BG said I'm telling you for the last time let go of my arm. My woman wants to have a good time and I'm gonna give her one. So I'd appreciate if you didn't mess it up cause if I have to take this outside I will son, but you won't like it cause this sum bitch will stomp your ass.  The guy backed down and left and Cheyenne and BG went back to dancing. She turned to look at him and said baby you are hot when you go all caveman. He grinned at her and said I aim to please darlin.
They were sitting at the table and the guys had quit drinking and we're all talking and having a great time telling road stories. Cheyenne told them she would be back and went to the restroom. As she was walking back to the table she watched this 20 something sit down in BGs lap and start rubbing on him. He was trying to get her off without harming her and she was just rubbing all up on him. He looked up and saw Cheyenne walking toward him and he could tell she was pissed. Ben looked and told the girl if you know what's good for you you will leave now otherwise you are gonna be in a world of hurt. Cheyenne stopped and said what's going on B? He looked at her and said help me I can't get her off me without putting my hands on her. I told her that  I was taken. Cheyenne grinned and told him I know babe I have seen it all. I got this. Cheyenne turns to the girl and said He told you he was taken so I advise you to get up and walk your ass away. The girl looked up and said who are you his mother? Cheyenne laughed and said No darlin I'm your worst nightmare his fiancé or ol lady as the MC says. I'm gonna give you one more chance to get up on your own before I make you get up. The girl laughed and said yeah right he's sex on a stick and you are used up tramp. Cheyenne grabbed the girls arm and had her on the floor in seconds and said now when I let you go you are going to get up and walk away. She let go the girl got up and took a swing at Cheyenne who saw it and blocked it with a left and hit her with a right hook that busted her nose. Ben went and settled their bill and BG told him to leave extra for the trouble. And they walked out and got in B's truck and went back to the buses.
It was 2am when they got back and they were rolling out at 6 to make it to the next place.  Cheyenne was exhausted it had been a long emotional day and she was ready for bed. She washed  her makeup off  and stripped down and grabbed one of B's shirts to sleep in. When she turned around he was propped on the doorframe watching her. He told her that he would never get tired of watching her get ready for bed knowing she was climbing into bed with him. And when you go ol lady on someone it is hot just sayin' Cheyenne blushes and tells him I offered her more than one chance to walk away I can't help she was stupid enough to mess with my man. He grins and starts taking off his clothes stripping down to his underwear. He pulls the covers back and climbs in the bed and she climbs in on the other side. As she settles in his arms he rubs her back and says it has been a long day babe. She says yes it has B but I'm so thankful I had you to help me through it. He kisses the top of her head and whispers I'm the one who is thankful for you baby. They drift off each thinking how right it feels to be with the other.
