Chapter 54

CMT awards show

As they get out and walk the pink carpet they have pictures taken and are interviewed by several people and right before they go in is Bobby Bones they stop and talk to him.
BB- So guys are y'all ready to wow country music with your performance
BG- yeah man we have some surprises in store for everyone.
BB- Cheyenne you look beautiful tonight in your dress but I must say it isn't something we are used to seeing.
C- What do you mean Bobby?
BB- Well I'm not sure how to say this but most dresses here are shorter and not a lot of material.
C- oh I get you Bobby you kind of mean like this and she turns around as she says it
BB- Wow is all I can say then he looks to BG and asks Did you bring your guns man you gonna need them
BG - No I don't have them wasn't expecting to need them but from now on I will be prepared for anything with this spit fire.
BB- So you didn't know what the dress looked like man?
BG- no it was a surprise to me which has me a little worried about her wardrobe for our performance tonight. But no worries my girl can take care of herself but I can always bring out the fists if necessary.
BB- alright man can't wait to see y'all inside

As they start to walk off Jana walks by and mutters homewrecker. Cheyenne laughs and BG clenches his fist. Cheyenne tells him that she doesn't bother her to let it go tonight was supposed to be fun. They find their way to the seats and meet back up with everyone. Cheyenne sits down and BG asks if she's okay she tells him yeah that it just hit her that after tonight they started touring. That she was nervous about all the people and didn't want to embarrass him. He took her hand and kissed it and said baby you won't. You are gonna shine so bright on that stage the audience is going to need sunglasses.
The awards show starts and Erin Andrews makes a comment about her dress that she needs to borrow it so she can land one of country's outlaws. Everyone laughs at that and then it's time for the first award Carrie wins and walks by me and hugs me and says I love the dress. And you are gonna kill it tonight.
That makes me settle down. It was fun and now it's time for me and BG to go get ready. We have to split up cause we are entering from opposites sides of the stage. I can't wait for him to see this leather dress with the lace and cutouts.
The music starts and BG starts walking out singing and then he stops walking when he sees Cheyenne in her dress and gives her that panty dropping dark gaze but continues singing. They work the crowd through the first chorus.

As the song comes to an end BG and Cheyenne look lost in their own world. Almost like they have forgotten about the crowd and are just singing to each other. The crowd stands up with applause and cheers. BG looks at Cheyenne and then the audience and says I have something I have to say well a couple things. First I love this dress you look amazing and I love that it shows that tattoo of my initials the camera zones in on it when he says that. Now what I have next to say is Cheyenne MCCoy you have been with me through some rough times and I am so glad that you agreed to sing and your with me but I have one more thing to ask you she looks at him and said Okay B what is it that you feel like you have to do it on live TV? BG drops down on one knee and  says I love you more than I ever thought possible to love someone. You know me and accept that I'm a loud crazy redneck biker and love me anyway. I want to spend the rest of my life with you taking each day together side by side will you marry me?
Cheyenne's hand had gone to her mouth when he got down on one knee he pulls out the ring and places it on her hand but doesn't slide it up . I'm waiting on an answer darlin, She is crying and finally finds her voice and says yes B I will marry you. He puts the ring on stands up and kisses her right there in front of everyone. She kisses him back and he whispers as he picks her up and carries her backstage. I asked for the kids blessing just so you know. The tears really started falling then. Cheyenne pulled herself together and fixed her makeup and changed dresses and then she met B and they made their way to their seats. They got hugs and congratulations from everyone and enjoyed the rest of the show. They all went to the after party and had fun dancing and talking with everyone. Brantley leans over and whispers in Cheyenne's ear I'm loving this dress as his hand traces the dip in her dress. He is drawing lazy circles on her lower back and then drops his hand to cup her ass. She places her hand on his ass and gives a squeeze . BG growls in her ear I'm ready to leave this shindig are you ? She bites her lip and nods her head yes. They say their goodbyes and get a ride back to the hotel. As soon as they get on the elevation BG yanks her into his arms and plunders her mouth with his tongue. He tells her that she has been driving him crazy all night with that dress. He cups her ass with his hands as he kisses down her neck and elicits a moan when he hits her sweet spot. The door opens and they run to the room.
