The guests take their seats as the band plays The House that Built Me and Miranda Lambert sings. Then BG and the preacher walk out and stand at the front waiting for Cheyenne. The band starts to play Me and You by Kenny Chesney and he steps up and starts singing as Ace and Cheyenne step out of the door and start down the porch steps.
They stop at the aisle runner and she looks at B and sees that he has changed his wardrobe. She smiles and shakes her head. BG cannot take his eyes off Cheyenne as she makes her way to him he doesn't even know that tears have slipped out of his eyes and are running down his cheek.
The preacher says We are gathered here today to unite Brantley and Cheyenne in Holy matrimony is there any one who can show just cause that they not be joined speak now or forever hold your peace. Now who gives this bride in marriage, Ace says my sisters and I and hugs BG. He says if you hurt her I will hunt you down and kill you ya hear me? BG grins and says yeah I got you. BG takes Cheyenne's hand and she tells him to spin. He grins and does as she says knowing she loves he surprise he has given her. They join hands and face the preacher. You both come here today willingly to join yourselves to the other. Marriage is a covenant not to be taken lightly it is between you two and God. Brantley the man is to be the protector of the home and lead his house in the ways of the Lord. Cheyenne the wife is to be in submission to her husband and be the soft in this hard world, where her family can find comfort. As you both have agreed I ask you Brantley do you take Cheyenne to be your lawfully wedded wife? BG replies I do.
Cheyenne do you take Brantley to be your lawfully wedded husband? Chey replies I do. Brantley and Cheyenne have written their own vows and will exchange them at this time
Brantley: I never thought I would be standing here getting married to one of my best friends. But God had other plans than what I had made. I fought the feelings because you had just lost Robert and I had lost Amber but a very wise person told us that Love knows no bounds it only knows to whom it belongs. Cheyenne I don't understand how you can love a crazy loud redneck biker country boy like me but I thank God every day that you do. When we first met I knew that you were something special and that what you had with Robert was something special. I only hoped to have that kind of love when I got married. I thought I had found it but it wasn't true. You don't try to change me but yet I love you so much that I want to change to be a better man for you and your kids. I want to make you proud of me but most of all I want to see you happy. You have the most beautiful smile because it comes from a joy on the inside that radiates for all to see. We both have had rough roads to get here and I know that life isn't easy but what I have found out is that together we can get through anything. I give you my heart for safekeeping. I promise you today in front of God and our family to love you fiercely, to protect you and our family and to make sure you know everyday from here forward that you are loved unconditionally. Cheyenne- I understand how you never imagined this day because I didn't either. When we met it was amazing because I loved your music it told a story many that I understood some I didn't but yet still touched my soul. I met you but I got to know the man and you became part of our family. The road has been rough for both of us but it just makes us stronger. When Robert died I thought I would be alone for the rest of my life and that was okay because I had my family and my friends. I had found love once and that was enough. I too fought it because I couldn't lose my best friend. Then that wise person told us that love knows no bounds only to whom it belongs . I knew at that moment that my heart was yours. Many outsiders don't understand how we work but all I know is that we do. I thank God every day for giving you to me. You amaze me in the way you love your family and friends and how you are there to support them in the hard times. Today I promise you in front of God and family that I will love you fiercely and protect our love with all I have. I promise to be your haven at the end of the day when the world has you battered and bruised always know that your home lies in me. What God has joined together let no man put asunder By the power vested in me by the State of Alabama and by God I now pronounce you husband and wife. You may kiss your bride. Brantley leans in and kisses Cheyenne then dips her while keeping contact in the kiss. May I introduce to you Mr and Mrs Brantley Keith Gilbert.
The band plays and Kenny stands up and sings You save me as they walk out. Then is when Cheynne sees that Carrie and Mike are there and JJ Watt along with Lukeand Caroline and Jason and Brittany and Thomas Rhett and his wife. They took pictures and then BG told her they had it videoed also so they could show it in Nashville.
They took a few minutes alone while everyone moved into the reception/ brunch area. Cheyenne looks at BG and asks what happened to jeans and leather vest ? B looked at her and said I wanted to make you proud babe. It doesn't kill me to dress up and the fact that you didn't tell me I had to was an eye opener. I think us guys look pretty good. She laughed and said yes you do. They kiss for a little bit and he tells her, you take my breath away Chey. That dress on you is amazing. It was like an angel stepped out. Well how do you like you ring B? He tells her he loves it and she tells him it's engraved so he takes it off and reads love knows no bounds. He tells her that hers is too so she takes it off and looks and it says love knows to whom it belongs. They sit looking out the ocean and just bask in each other and the fact that they are married. Kolby comes to get them said everyone is waiting. They get to the door and hear make welcome Mr and Mrs Brantley Gilbert. They walk in and go to the dance floor where Kenny stands and says for their first dance as husband and wife I want to sing You save me because they are this song. They dance and are in there own world just basking in their love. After the dance they eat and visit with everyone until it was time to go to the venue for the concert. Sierra was going to bringCheyenne her stuff after the concert cause they were taking a few days on the bike heading back to Nashville for the reception. They left on the bike with BG in his dress clothes and Cheyenne in her wedding dress.
