Through it All

Chapter 82

BG is having fun and that isn't easy for him to do at the beach. The main reason is Cheyenne gets in the water and swims and plays with him. She loves it and just laughed when he looked at her strange as she went to the ocean. As they got in about waist deep she put her arms around him and kissed him and said I'm not Amber or Jana babe. I love riding the waves. It's fun a great workout and I get to be in your arms. He kissed her back and said you constantly surprise me. They were having a great time! They went to the beach chairs and stretched out and turned some music on. Cheyenne took off her straps and was tanning while catching up on all the things from yesterday. He was on his phone catching up too. BG nation had been very busy from the moment the announcement was made last night. Twitter Facebook and Instagram had been blown up. Then there were the posts from their family and friends that had been there. They would find a funny one or sentimental one and share it. There was no way they could respond to each one individually. They took a selfie and posted it to all3 sites thanking everyone for their well wishes. Cheyenne started going through text messages and answering them when she opened one from Ellie. It was a picture of a Robert and Cheyenne on their wedding day with the saying I always wanted someone to look at me like y'all looked at each other but their is no comparison. I want this instead. And it  was a picture of Cheyenne and BG looking at each other that she must have taken with her phone. BG asks her what wrong it was then that she realized she was crying. She gives him her phone and he's floored. She asks him how do I respond to that? He kisses her and says tell her you love her. She sent back I love you to Ellie. Ellie sent back Momma I love you and what you and daddy had was very special and I don't know if it is because of the heartbreak you and BG have been through that makes y'all able to love differently but that is what I want. I'm not gonna settle for anything less. If I made you cry I'm sorry I just wanted you to know that I'm happy you have that kind of love in your life. Now go have fun and I will talk to you later.
She shows B the text and he says she is so right.  They continue answering text messages and she comes across one from Nate that said:

Just wanted to tell you Congratulations on your marriage. You look so happy and so in love and that is all I ever wanted for you. You deserve it after everything you have been through.
She repliesThank you. And shows it to BG. He said that was nice of him and let it go at that.  He shows her one from Amber:

Brantley congratulations on your marriage. You both look very happy.  I do have to say the media is right you have never looked at me like you look at her. I wish you both nothing but happiness. Take care of each other.

He asked Cheyenne what is she talking about in the media. Cheyenne told him she didn't know but they would probably find out pretty soon. He sent back Thank you.
The next message he opened was from Jana and it was ugly.
Brantley I can't believe you went and married that old hag after all that we had and could still have . You will regret it. Don't expect me to sit around and wait on you this time.
It made them both mad but decided to ignore it not gonna let it ruin their glow of wedded bliss.

They got through all their texts from last night when the big group message started blowing up about the media.  Sierra shared that they had pictures of BG and Amber on their wedding day and pictures of BG and Cheyenne and were comparing them. Then Miranda said they had just done the same thing with Cheyenne and Robert. Luke said man I know y'all don't want to do this now but y'all have got to answer back on this. Put it to rest. Ellie shared with the entire group the message she sent me last night. Sierra said you can look like that after you have experienced heartbreak and lived through things that you thought would kill you. Also at 18 you think you know what love is but you don't until life happens and you walk through it. BG and Cheyenne both said that is what we have said. It doesn't diminish love that you had before it just gives you a greater understanding of it.
Carrie said to release a statement like that or let the record company release it for them. They told them thanks for the help and keep them updated cause they would be somewhat off the grid on the bike the next few days and that they would see them on the 30th.
Cheyenne's friends had received their invitations to the reception and so far it was nothing but positive responses. She touched base with the event coordinator and said last count was 200 said they were coming so it may be bigger than you thought. Cheyenne told her that was fine do what she had to and they would pay for it but if she needed okay on something and she hadn't responded to contact Sierra and she would make the decisions.
Cheyenne looked at B and  said you ready to blow this joint? He grinned and said I thought you would never ask. They headed back to the room to shower the salt and sand off and get ready to ride.
Cheyenne put on a black Lynard Skynard tshirt her  black skinny jeans and her black Harley riding boots. She dried her hair and straightens it. Put on light natural makeup and she's ready to ride. BG put on back jeans and a black Harley tshirt and his boots. They pack everything up and go check out. They get the bike loaded and B pulls out his vest and slips it on and then pulls out another vest and hands it to Cheyenne. She looks at it and it says Property of Brantley"BOSS " Gilbert. She grins from ear to ear and jumps in his arms. B catches her and kisses her and says I'm taking that you like it? She says yes it means they accepted me in the club as your ol lady B. He said yeah darlin it does.  He puts it on her and then gets on the bike and steadies it for her to climb behind him. He pulls out his phone and takes their picture and send it to social media with the words : Nothing like hitting the open road with my wife riding behind me. He starts the bike and off they go.
