Chapter 26

BG POV

I haven't slept much at all I have so many things running through my mind. I worry about Chey and how she's gonna deal after we all leave today. I am worried about Amber and what is going on with her. I have been up and to the gym already where I met up with Ace and got in a good workout. As I was coming back to shower I stopped by the front desk to settle up my bill and tried to pay Cheyenne's but it was already paid. Sometimes I would like to wring her neck, I know that she can take care of herself but I promised Robert to take care of them. I also worry about Nate and what he's gonna try to pull when we all leave. I know that today is move in day for Chey and Ace in the new house and it is killing me that I can't stay but I need to get back home to Georgia and my wife. I honestly think Cheyenne planned it on purpose. I know that she is independent and feels like she has to do this alone but she doesn't she has all of us. I got to get a move on if I'm gonna make it to breakfast. As I get in the shower I hear Kolby asking me what was doing taking so long was I jacking off. I told him to kiss my ass and get out I didn't have time to deal with little boys right now. He laughed and I heard the door close. I love my brother but someone's gonna get him for his smart mouth one day. Momma has tried to tell him and straighten him out. I've got to go by and see her when I get back she's been worried about Cheyenne and won't let me rest until I go over and FaceTime with Cheyenne so momma can see for herself. I have gotten out and dressed as I am putting on my chains rings and cuffs I think back to when Cheyenne told me to take my dress pants off and put my jeans and chains on for the funeral. She wanted me to be comfortable and said that Robert liked me with chains and cuffs and rings. That was the friend that he had grown to love like a brother. I thank God everyday that he placed this family in my life. I make my way out to put my bags in my truck and go eat and I see Kolby at Cheyenne's car putting her bags in it. I holler at him and he comes over. I asked him where Chey was and he said in the hotel she was headed to pay her bill and he brought her stuff out so she wouldn't have to. I looked at him and said her bill is already paid. Kolby said BG she's gonna be pissed at you and you don't want to leave here today with her pissed. I looked at him like he was crazy and told him that i didn't pay her bill but I had tried and it was already paid. As we enter the hotel I look to my right and Cheyenne and Ben are sitting on a couch talking makes me wonder what that was about. We go ahead and sit down and say good morning to everyone and nod my head toward the other hallway and ask if they know what's up with Ben and Cheyenne. Jon looks up and says yeah he's telling her that when we leave it isn't goodbye and that she has our numbers and can call us anytime she needs us. Also he is telling her that we went together and paid her hotel bill. Kinda like a thank you for accepting us into her family and not making us feel less than you BG and to make up for the comments she overheard us say. Not many people would have handled us like she has or like they all have. Ace comes up at this time and we change the topic of conversation. My band is amazing they are truly family. Ben and Cheyenne walk in and we all order and work out a few details. It's loud with everyone talking and laughing but I wouldn't have it any other way. My family around me having fun.
