Chapter 43

Faith says why can't you get a judge to put a gag order on Amber about the divorce and specify she nor anyone she is associated with can mention Cheyenne or you BG to anyone and if it's violated then they face jail time. BG gets on the phone and calls his lawyer who calls the judge to get it in effect today even though it is Sunday.

Jason asks when the divorce is final and BG tells them that it will be final in 3 more weeks around the time that Cheyenne gets out of school and starts doing tour dates. We planned it that way in case she started spewing crap about Cheyenne. Brittany says well y'all I don't mean anything bad but have you watched that video of the performance I needed a cigarette after watching it. The chemistry between y'all is unbelievable so I see where someone would jump to that conclusion. They all agree and don't get mad at Brittany. Sierra said I'm not really worried about Amber momma can handle her with a snap of her fingers. What I want to know is what can be done about Nate without him pulling the assaulting an officer card? They all look at BG and he said I will handle it and Cheyenne said no you can't because he is just itching for you to do something. I think I need to handle Nate and BG handle Amber. BG looked at her and said no you are not going to handle him he said that to my ol lady and I don't put up with that shit. He is not going to disrespect you any more. I'm not gonna allow it. Cheyenne looked at him and said I understand where you are coming from but I don't need my ol man getting put in jail for thinking with his dick and not his brain. You know he's just waiting for you to step out of line. And if I'm honest those were drunk texts and when he sees them he will be so mad at himself that I won't hear from him. I think we wait and see if he does anything else. If he does I will let you know I promise. However consult your lawyer and see if we can threaten a harrassment lawsuit on the town. Faith looks at her and said you are gonna do just fine in this business. You have a cool head and think things through and thats a good thing. Cheyenne tells her thank you I needed to hear that. She gets up and starts to clear the table and BG tells her to sit back down that the women cooked so they will clean up for them to go in the living room and gossip. They all get up and as they are seated in the living room Faith asks what are Brittany and me missing? Sierra says well when me and Colt got here mom was in the kitchen wearing BGs shirt that you see in that video that is playing on the TV. Faith raises her eyebrows and says do tell. Then BG tells mom to go get dressed that others would be here soon and gave us the lowdown that he loved mom and they were together and for us not to give her a hard time. So Ace tells him that he gets that and that we are okay with it but from now on to not have sex when any of us are in the house cause he didn't need to hear that again. Brittany and Faith laugh as Cheyenne blushes. Faith says so who won the pool and Ellie said it goes to charity because Kolby said no one had Sunday at 1:30am. Cheyenne spoke up and said that it was going to wounded warriors. They started talking about other girl stuff until Ellie and Claire said they had to get ready to go back to college as they had finals coming up next week.

Meanwhile in the kitchen....
BG is washing dishes and Ace is putting them up when BG asks him if he is really okay with him being with his mom. Ace said yeah I am not sure how I feel about y'all having sex since you aren't married but like I said earlier if you treat her right I'm okay. My dad thought of you as his brother and he wanted mom to be taken care of and I know he couldn't stand Nate. So he would be glad that you have taken care of her. Thank you BG for being here for mom but also being here for me and Ellie and Sierra. We may be grown but we still need a father figure and he wanted it to be you. BG said that means a lot to me Ace and I promised your dad I would be there for all of you and I plan on keeping that promise. Although i am not sure that this approach is going to work on either one of our problems with Nate and Amber but it's what your mom wants so I am willing to try.
Jason comes up with Tim and looks at BGans says we have a question for you when did you claim Cheyenne? Ace said this morning around 1:30am. BG smacked him in the back of the head and said hush that mouth before you momma hears you. Ace said its better than me hearing y'all and laughs as he walks off. Tim and Jason said okay man spill. BG tells them that he's not talking except to say that they are together but don't want it to go public until after the divorce is final. We have feelings for each other that came up after Robert died and Amber walked out on me. We have always been just friends and didn't see each other like that , I mean I knew she was good looking but I didn't think about her other than just being one of my best friends. She told me pretty much the same thing and we actually didn't think about it until Ben Kolby and Ace brought it up on Friday. We decided to see where it takes us. They both nodded and told BG that he had a great one and if he screwed up and hurt her that they would kick his ass. BGlaughed and said that's what everyone has said.
