Chapter 95

Ellie POV
I can't say that I am really mad at Pop and all them, it just means I have to have this conversation sooner rather than later. I take Jake to a private corner and sit down on the couch. I look at him and say I know that you are 34 and have been married and have a beautiful little girl so I know you aren't a virgin and I know that being a musician you have had girls throwing themselves at you for years and still do. I don't care about that your past is your past except for your daughter and ex wife cause I know they will always be your priority and they should be. I have just got out of the longest relationship I have had. I never dated much, partly because I have high standards and part because they knew I wouldn't put out. I didn't have my first kiss until I was 16 and that took 3 weeks to do. So with that being said I don't know what they told you and it doesn't matter cause we would have had this conversation anyway if we went any further. I will say I don't know when I will have sex momma has always told me I would know when it was right and I haven't felt that way about anyone yet. I am not totally innocent Jake so don't think that but I know I like you and you make me laugh so if you don't want to go any further than what we are right now because of this or whatever other reason I'm okay as long as I can keep you as my friend.

Jake POV
Ellie has floored me just now, she is giving me a way out and still wants to keep me as a friend.  Ellie please don't be mad at them, they love you and I understand why they do. You are a very special woman and anyone would be lucky to call you theirs. I will say I was a little shocked at the revelation but that was because of the girls around here. I didn't know that they made them like you and your sister anymore. But I guess some of that goes to your mom and dad after talking to Ace. Do not ever be ashamed of it , it is a precious gift to treasure and whoever you decide to give it to will be honored. Now then that is out of the way, I like you Ellie and I will be honest I think you are beautiful smart and fun to be with. I have laughed more with you the last 2 days than I have in a year. I don't know where this is going but I would like to see where it goes. I'm not gonna lie to you, you turn me on and I haven't even kissed you yet. And wherever this goes I want to keep you as my friend too. With that being said I'm willing to see if this flirtation that we have been doing leads anywhere are you? Ellie looks at me and she is biting her lip oh how that drives me crazy. Before I know what is happening she has leaned over and is kissing me. I run my tongue around her lips asking for entrance and she grants it I cup her face with my hands as I deepen the kiss savoring the taste of her, exploring her mouth and lips as her tongue enters my mouth I know I've got to stop this cause I feel like I'm free falling without a parachute. I pull back placing kisses on her lips. I touch my forehead to hers as I try to catch my breath and smile. Ellie said does that answer you question? I grin and kiss her forehead and say yeah baby doll it does. I pull her back to where her head is leaning on my chest  and I wrap my arms around her playing with her hair and we sit there continuing to talk.

The party is going full swing and it is a success the two sides have blended wonderful. Laura finally gets Liz to loosen up and it goes a lot better. Cheyenne is happy that her friends at work and her music friends are getting along so well. She is dancing with all her girls on both sides when all the guys come up and ask if they have seen Ellie lately. Cheyenne said no I haven't seen her or Jake since she pulled him off after your talk with him.  BG said, Hell Cheyenne that was 2 hours ago! She laughed and said , Well have you checked her room? She told y'all she was going to have sex.  BG growled and said this isn't funny. Cheyenne kissed him and said, Baby it's Ellie, think about it. She probably has Jake in some secluded corner talking and explaining herself since y'all opened your big mouths and giving him the option to walk away and just be friends." Sierra looked at them and said " yeah moms right Ellie doesn't do rash she thinks things through every scenario and does research on it. I mean when she pierced her own cartilage at home she researched it and did it and there was no infection. Before she had the other one done she called mom and asked. It's Ellie relax and enjoy the party." They all let out a huff of breath and joined their women dancing. Chase Rice got up on stage and said I heard this was one of the bride and grooms favorite songs so I thought I would do it in honor of them. He starts singing Ride and Ellie comes running in dragging Jake behind her. She said it may be one of your favorites but it's one of mine too. I loved it when I saw him do it in concert. Ellie starts singing and dancing with Jake. He said when did you see him in concert? She grinned and said same night I saw you. He grinned and started singing and dancing up close and personal to Ellie. BG growled andCheyenne whispered in his ear, let it go. Tonight is about us baby. Focus on me and how I make you feel. B leans down and kisses her and said when can we make our escape? Soon baby soon. The whole floor was grinding dirty dancing. The older adults had already said goodbye and left. And it was time to throw the bouquet and toss the garter. They called the single ladies to the floor with Beyoncé song. Cheyenne threw it over her shoulder and Miranda caught it and she threw it back at Cheyenne, laughing.
They had the guys gather to the song Tuxedo. BG places her in a chair and asks which leg and then says never mind I'll find it and sticks his head under her dress causing Cheyenne to gasp as he grabs it with his teeth kissing her leg . The girls are encouraging  him with cat calls and yells and then the guys start in too as Cheyenne turns red. He comes out at the knee pushing her dress up and rubbing her leg before he places a hungry kiss on her. He gets up and closes his eyes as he shoots the garter and it is caught by Jake. And everyone laughs cause BG said hell  no. Ellie goes up to Jake and kisses him in front of everyone and he wraps his arms around her kissing her back. It got really quiet and then Miranda yells woohoo love is in the air! Causing everyone to laugh. BG thanked everyone for coming and celebrating their marriage and told them to stay and dance as long as they wanted to buy him and his wife were saying goodbye now. Cheyenne told the kids she would see them ready to roll at 10am that way they would have time to get to Tuscaloosa and get ready. Ellie asked can I ask Jake? Yes cause we had Brody in our count. Love you momma.  Love you too. BG told Kolby that they were leaving at 10 in the morning and would be coming into Georgia in the early morning hours Monday and asked could he make sure that all the razors andc4 wheelers were ready and gassed for him. He told him it wouldn't be a problem and that Claire was coming if that was okay. Yeah little brother that's fine. Check the mud pit cause we gotta have a big one for the video. We will get it done. Go take your wife and get out of here.
