6:00am
Alarms blaring and Cheyenne gets up turns it off and makes her way to the kitchen to start the coffee and turns the shower on to warm up. She puts on music on her phone. She showers gets out and grabs her robe and puts it on. She heads to the kitchen pours PJ a cup of coffee takes it to him and grabs hers and B's and goes back to the bedroom to wake him up and give him his coffee. He kisses her and tells her thank you as he rolls out of bed. She drinks her coffee as she picks out this mornings outfit which consists of black ripped skinny jeans and a light gray almost silver flowy loose fitting halter top that buttons at the back of her neck. Where the front is covered from the neck down but the back is open. She finishes it off with black chandelier earrings black leather cuff and black wedges. She is sitting on the bed doing her makeup as BG gets his shower when the song Can I count on you by McBride and the Ride comes on the radio. It was her and Roberts song, it was played at their wedding and today for some reason unbeknownst to her it make her cry. As BG gets out of the shower he comes into the bedroom and sees her crying and goes to her and she stops him from touching her. He looks hurt and she said B it's one of those days, the song made me cry I don't know why but if you hold me right now we will be late because I will fall apart and not be able to stop. So promise me that after this interview and breakfast with the guys you will come back here and hold me. He looks at her and said you want to cancel the interview she tells him no cant dissapoint your fans. I promise baby today is nothing but you and me. She wipes her eyes fixes the rest of her makeup. BG heads to the front to make a call and tells them to have his bike off and ready to roll when he gets to the venue today and that he wants sound check later since he doesn't have the private meet and greet before the concert.
Cheyenne comes to the front and sits in his lap as he's talking to PJ. They roll into the studio parking lot and BG looks at her and says I don't really like this guy not sure why but if things get to be too much you can walk out and come back here. P J is going in just in case you need to leave. She nods her head puts a smile on her face and says let's do it.They get off with PJ leading the way and make it to the studio. The front people were nice and the tech people were great getting them wired. They are introduced and say hello to the radio world.
DJ- So last night was your first live concert together how did that work for y'all?
BG- It was amazing for me to have my best friend out there sharing the thing I love to do.
DJ- What about you Cheyenne how was your first concert with BG?
C- It was exciting interacting with the fans, feeding off their energy. I see why he loves doing it and I had a blast.DJ- Well the country reviews said that the performance and I quote" after watching BG and Cheyenne perform together live one may need a cigarette. The chemistry that flows between them is almost visible." What's your take on that ?
BG- Well that is one reason I held out performing with a female my songs come from my life and some things aren't near as good if you are faking it.
DJ- So you are saying that your performances are real no fake emotion? What about you Cheyenne do you have any explanation as why ?
C- Well I mean we sing a song about a relationship that was friends and they are trying to decide if they need to see where it will go. So yeah even though he wrote it years ago it resonates with what we have been going through in our life now. So what you see is what you get, when have you ever known BG to fake anything?DJ- What do you say about it BG?
BG- Well I mean Chey pretty much answered it for both of us. I will say on her behalf she isn't fake far from it. Her expressions are an open book, whatever she is feeling you see on her face. And like she said when something is real to you and you feel it, other people see it.DJ- Well we saw the proposal on live TV what are the wedding plans?
BG- Well that is something that we have discussed and its private so there you go.
DJ- So Cheyenne are you planning a big Nashville wedding since you have landed a country superstar I mean he has money so spare no expense right?C- I take offense to that question if I'm honest. He just told you it was private and we weren't talking about it. And for you to refer that I am marrying him for money is wrong on so many levels. It says a couple of things about you 1. That you don't know BG at all and two you didn't do your research on me.
DJ- I'm just asking the questions people want to know and why do you feel like you have to hide wedding plans if it's real as you both call it?
C- I got this B , well we aren't talking about it because we both have done the big traditional wedding and that just isn't where we are in our lives right now. We have both suffered tragedies and know that the only thing that matters on that day is us and our feelings for each other. It is a sacred ceremony and that is what we plan to keep it.
DJ- Since you talk about you both suffering tragedies, how do you think your late husband would feel about you and BG being together and engaged just a couple months after his death?
BG- Well Robert was my best friend, I miss him every day. We talk of him almost daily. While we had time to say our goodbyes, he asked me to take care of Cheyenne and his kids. I promised him that I would and I plan to it just is in a different capacity than what we thought it would be. I think he would be happy that we have each other and the ones who knew him best have said that.
C- I know Robert would be happy for us and he made me promise to leave my heart open for love and any opportunities that came my way. So I know that I am making him proud.DJ- Well okay most people just find it hard to believe that you both were faithful to your spouses since you are together this quick after his death and BG divorce. What do you have to say about that?
Chey- Well all I have to say is our families know the truth and God knows so that is all that matters.
BG- People can believe what they want but those who love us and know us were there and saw it firsthand hell they all had a pool as to when we would realize that we belonged together. So there you go, the rest of the story.DJ- Well now let's talk about your age difference, BG did you always think Cheyenne was a what is the term the kids use MILF?
BG- I think that you just crossed the line and I am ending this right now. BG nation we will see you all tonight so y'all come on and bring the party! Let's go Chey.As they get up the station goes to commercial and the DJ grabs Cheyenne's arm and says to her I think you are a MILF. That's all it took to snapBG's self control and he hit the DJ knocking him to the floor. PJ comes in and gets Cheyenne to get her out. BG tells him don't think about pressing charges cause I know you don't want the sexual harassment lawsuit she will bring. And we have proof on air. The station manager was there apologizing to BG and Cheyenne and he told them I won't be back here as long as he is here.
They go back on the bus and go to the diner where the boys are waiting for them. BG and Cheyenne walk in and sit down. The guys realize something is wrong but just look at each other. Cheyenne orders then heads to the restroom. The guys bombard BG with questions and he gives them a rundown of this morning and their plans for the rest of the day. So they won't see them until sound check at4.
They eat breakfast and say goodbye and get back on their buses. BG tells Cheyenne to go get her riding clothes on that he was taking her away for the day.
