Sound check...

The whole family goes to sound check and catch up with the band. Justin was finishing up and BG and Cheyenne make introductions and she reminds them of supper at 6. They all cheered when she said that. Sierra asks how does she feel knowing that a lot of people from home will probably be here tonight. Nervous and excited because I don't think a lot of people know it yet. My last performance as Cheyenne McCoy. Feels a little strange if I'm honest.

They start playing and adjusting and then they tell BG that they are ready for him so he starts on Bottoms Up and he stops tells them to give Sierra a mic. And tells her and Cheyenne to get out there with him. Sierra balks and he said come on this is what started this ride for your mom. Please y'all do it tonight? Sierra agrees and they go over it a couple of times and then they go over some of just Cheyenne and BG. Sound check was over and they headed back to the bus so Cheyenne can finish supper . They set the TV and PS4 outside along with a couple of long folding tables and chairs under the tents. They go through and fix their plates and sit down and  one of Justin's band says Chey leave BG and marry me! I love your cooking!! She laughs and BG growls get your own woman! They finish everything off and Momma Becky tells her she will wash up while she gets ready. The kids all have passes and want to see the concert from the pit. Sierra is going to sing that one song and they are just gonna pick her up from the pit. PJ and Kolby are providing security for them. The girls all have sundresses on and boots.

Cheyenne decides to wear her navy sundress with brown belt, brown boots and brown cuff. She makes loose curls in her hair and does her makeup. BG is wearing the camo tank and his ripped jeans tonight.  They head to the stage and he looks at her and tells her I love you baby. Tonight is gonna be special I can already tell. She tilts her head back and said I love you and I can tell it too.  They get to the wings do their drinks with the band and Bens toast tonight is Last night of freedom y'all lets rock! They all yeah let's rock. The band gets in place and Ben starts the beat and they play Kick it in the Sticks, Read me my Rights then Bottoms Up music starts and PJ and Kolby lift Sierra to BG on stage and Cheyenne brings out her mic. BG says I got a treat for y'all tonight joining me on this song is Cheyenne my fiancé and her oldest Sierra. They start and are rocking it and BG stops singing and just watches them interact and entertain his fans. Chey looks at him and he laughs and starts singing again and he gets on one knee at the marry you part which made them laugh. They finished the song and they got Sierra back to the pit. The band has went into Hurts so Good and they do that song and then let it ride. They bring her stool out and she sits down. BG said tonight I am gonna do things a little different. Usually I would sing Fall into Me or You don't know her like I do but tonight I am blessed to have my family with me. You got to hear Sierra but Ellie, Ace, Colt Brody Claire Kolby and Mama are here also. I am a blessed man but to have them all as my family. Tonight this next song is dedicated to an amazing husband, father and friend who was gone to soon from our lives. You will see some moments of his life up on the big screen as I sing tonight instead of the normal video we play. Cheyenne , I want to honor Robert tonight and at the same time honor you and the family because y'all are fighting the good fight. I wouldn't be half the man if it weren't for his friendship. BG starts singing One Hell of an Amen. It is a moment that stops the crowd they realize this is something so special. The kids are watching and some tears escape . Cheyenne reaches out and slips her arm around BG as she watches the moments of her life flash on the screen. Brantley has added a verse that talks about Roberts death and as he sings he pulls Cheyenne to him and closes his eyes and you can hear the emotion in his voice and tears slide out the corners of his eyes. As he finishes the song the crowd is silent they know they have just been given something so personal from their star. BG looks at them and says Thank you for that moment , y'all are the best fans in the world. The crowd erupts with applause. Cheyenne kisses him and he dips her low and the catcalls and whistles start. She walks off and he says sorry guys she's all mine. I am one lucky man. He does dirt road anthem my baby's guns n roses and you don't know her like I do and end with country must be country wide.  He runs off stage and Cheyenne is waiting for him with arms wide open. They stand there lost in that moment oblivious to anything else.  PJ comes up and tells them they have to get to meet and greet. They head that way never letting go of each other. The kids went back to the bus to figure everything out. BG and Cheyenne sign and take pictures and there were several people that she knew from back home . It was 2 hours before they were done and walking to the bus. BG goes in and showers and they have figured out that the girls would be on BG's bus Kolby would drive his truck and BG would drive his truck and they would trailer the suv the kids drove down. Ace was gonna ride with BG and Colt and Brody were gonna ride with Kolby.  BG and Cheyenne walk to his truck and he looks at her and asks if she's okay. She said yeah I am because in just a few short hours I will be Mrs Brantley Gilbert.  I don't know that I will sleep without you there beside me tonight. I love you B. BG smiles I love you to darlin. Now get your cute butt on that bus so we can roll. Send me a text when you get in the house tonight okay and then again when it's okay for me to get on our bus. Okay baby she said. BG grabs her and kisses her and said that's your last kiss as a single woman. She winks at him and says your last as a single man. Love you B! Love you Chey!  As soon as she gets on the bus they roll out.
