Chapter 76

BG POV

I am working on a song as we travel to our show in Alabama. Cheyenne is already in bed asleep. We have had a couple of busy days. She is excited to see her family tomorrow at the show and then the day after that we are getting married. No one other than our friends have a clue. I think we are going to pull off the biggest secret in country music. I have been able to write some great songs for my next album but then again I have the best inspiration. I can hardly believe that in less than 48 hours I'm going to marry my best friend. I tellPJ goodnight and head back to get some sleep, we have a long day tomorrow.

CheyPOV

I have to get up and get moving cause the kids and B's family will be here soon and I need to get supper put on in the crockpots. I decided that I would cook tonight for supper for all of us and Justin and his band. So I'm doing chuck roast potatoes and carrots and they won't put themselves in the crockpot. Let's get this day started cause I have wedding plans to finalize!! I am marrying my best friend in a little over 24 hours.!!!!' Getting up I see B's tshirt laying on the foot of the bed I grab it and slip it on. I go start my coffee and start peeling potatoes and scraping carrots when I get that done with them I pull out the four crockpots load them up and turn them on. I make sure I have the corn moved from the freezer to the fridge. I go ahead and set up to cook breakfast but before I get started my phone dings. It's Ace he said that they were about 30 min away. I asked if they had eaten breakfast yet and he said no. I told him it would be ready when they got here then. I hear B growl so I yell at him what's wrong babe? He told me I wasn't in bed with him. I laughed and said got to much to do. Kids will be here in 30 they just said. B said Kolby just text that's why I growled, he woke me up. He said they would be here in 30 too. Okay so I need to make a little more. I'm gonna jump in the shower really quick. I walk into the bedroom and B is sitting on the bed in all his naked glory. He grabbed my hand and pulled me down to sit on his lap so he could kiss me. I told him he was gonna make me late. He told me that he would help me cook but he wanted to have just a few minutes before chaos of family swept in. I kissed him and said I know what you mean I miss them but after it has been just us for 3 weeks it's spoiled me. He grins and said baby I know. So we save time and get in the shower together and that is all we did . He got dressed in his jeans and tshirt and I put on some khaki shorts and a pink tshirt. B started the bacon while I worked on pancakes and eggs. About the time I put the last ones on the griddle there was a knock at the door. B went and opened it and it was Sierra, Colt, Brody, Ace, Claire , Kolby and Mama Becky. They all came by and hugged me as I was finishing up. Sierra had her camera and started snapping pictures and I fussed at her cause my hair was wet and I had no makeup on. She said mom I want these pictures to document your last day as a single woman. I stopped and said Oh crap B I forgot to get a photographer. He laughed and said its covered I did it and Sierra wants to do a lot too so it's good. He came up and handed me a plate that he had fixed and said  sit down and eat darlin you have a busy day. I looked at him and said what have you done? He kissed me and said all of my ladies are booked at the spa today for massages, manicures and pedicures. Today you are to relax and enjoy your girls since its your last day as a single woman. Us guys are going to play with big boy toys at the track and shooting range. We will meet back here at 3 pm for sound check and then supper. Then performance and then beach bound. I looked at him and said okay sounds like you got it figured out . Let me get ready so we can go. He said I will clean up and then we are gone. I went and dried my hair and straightened it and put on light natural make up and slipped on my sandals and grabbed my bag. We said good bye and went our separate ways until 3pm.

Their days:

At the spa they started them all with massages and had put them in a room all together. The girls were enjoying it and Ellie and Claire asked questions about Kenny, was he nice or stuck up or did he just chill. Cheyenne told them he was cool and she said that he has their phone numbers now. He said he would probably contact them about coming to a concert this year. They squealed like little girls. Sierra said that's no fair, she told her that she was included with it too. Momma Becky laughed at them and asked Cheyenne were her parents gonna get to come and Cheyenne told her they were going straight to the beach house today.  She explained about her dads back  and traveling was rough on him. They talked about what it was like traveling on the road and how she was meeting all her favorite artists. It is a dream come true. Then they got to talking about the party July1 and how many people they think will come. The invitations/ announcements were to be put in the mail on Monday morning . Cheyenne said they were sending out 500 invitations. She looked at Claire and Ellie and said when y'all get married I will hire a coordinator because this has been so easy. She looked at Sierra and said when you renew your vows I will hire one for you too. It has truly been a lifesaver. Massages were done now they were off for mani/ pedi's. Sierra said momma who's gonna walk you down the aisle? Well I thought about that and I am walking myself down because my daddy has already given me away and no daddy should have to do that twice. Sierra asked what about Ace cause I think he plans on it. Cheyenne said if he wants to that's fine with me.  They ask her what BG is gonna wear and Cheyenne said his dress black jeans black dress shirt and black vest and of course his boots but no hat until after ceremony.

Meanwhile at the track......

The guys are all racing souped up go carts around the track beating and banging , spinning each other out like it was a nascar race. They have laughed and had a great time joking with each other. They finish their 5th race and leave the track. BG tells them we have to go to the store cause I want to surprise Chey by being dressed up tomorrow and so I have to pick up a black suit but I draw the line at a tie. He buys all the guys a pair of black boots and outfits them with black suits too. He picks a black dress shirt and they test Sierra Ellie and Claire and ask what color of shirts for them. Ace needs the Tiffany blue shirt, Colt needs pink, Brody needs Royal blue and Kolby needs green. They tell them no suit jackets for tommorow just shirt and vest. BG is pumped now to head to the shooting range cause it's outside. They shot so many rounds of ammo and several rounds of skeet shooting. Ace asks BG if  he knows who his mom is gonna have walk down the aisle. He tells him he thinks she was gonna walk by herself because her dad had already given her away and she couldn't ask him again. Ace said has she thought about me and BG told him yeah she has but she didn't know if you would want to. She's happy to be getting married but she's sad too Ace. She misses your dad every day, we both do. She feels torn sometimes and has sad days. I just love her through them let her talk and hold her when she cries. I'm not trying to replace Robert  but I will be here for you bud. Ace tells him he knows that and that is why this is easy to accept. He asks BG do you care if I ask mom if I can walk her down the aisle and give her away? No I don't bud just gonna warn you that she will probably cry. Ace grins and says that's a given man. They head back for sound check.
