Clark stared in horror at the airplane, falling on TV.

Not just any airplane, the airplane that Y/N was on.

Y/N pecked Clarks cheek and smiled reassuringly at him.

Clark didn't go because he wanted to do a article on Gotham's 'Batman'. So he decided he wasn't going to accompany Y/N on her flight to London to visit some friends.

Y/N smiled at Clark.

"I'll be back before you know it." She said, then grabbing her bags.

Clark smiled at Y/N, then kissing her cheek, sending her off to her flight

Clark quickly slipped into his superman clothes, then rushing off the find the falling airplane.

His eyes roamed the sky and his ears detected any small sound.

Then,

He heard it. Human screams and the fire crackling filled his ear.

He rocketed towards the falling plane, which was erupt in flames. When he reached the burning plane, his palms desperately tried to grab ahold and balance the plane.

The pilot looked at him in shock, and Clark tried to steady the plane from falling.

His sweaty palms were starting to sweat, and he almost slipped but caught himself and gently put the plan on the ground.

The door opened and passengers scrambled out, some had cuts and bruises.

Clark scanned the crowd for the familiar beautiful face he loved.

He heard coughing inside the plan and ran in.

Y/N laid on the back seats, bruises and blood pooled around her. A guy and a girl where by her, frantically trying to stop her bleeding.

"Y/N!" He called, running to her.

The two people looked confused, but Clark didn't care if he was blowing his cover. The blood around you was sickening and the gash of your forehead didn't help.

The two people watched as Clark cradled Y/N and took is as a sign to leave.

Clark wrapped bandages around Y/N's arm more tightly and carried her out.

He flew to a nearby town and rushed into a hospital, which took a few minutes to find.

The doctors and nurses looked worried and carried her into the emergency room.

Clark told the nurses and doctors information on where the plane site landed and they sent a rescue ambulance right away.

Then he raided a nearby store for clothes and changed into them.

Worry etched his mind as he fumbled his fingers in the waiting room.

A doctor came out, pity was on his face.

"So?" Clark demanded.

"She's not doing too well." He said, then walking away.

A few minutes later, nurses walked out.

Clark questioned them but they didn't answer, one nurse came out in the end.

"Y/N L/N, is dead."

Clark stared at her in shock.

All he could think and feel was sorrow, and uselessness. Clark felt as if his heart has been wretched out of his chest, and numb with pain.

All he could think was,

It was my fault.
