His cold metal arm glinted under his white tee shirt as his warm hand held hers.

Her hair was sprayed out in the white pillow cover as her eyes were closed shut. He laid next to her and examined her face. Each little detail and each hair seemed perfectly placed to him. She squeezed her eyes tightly before her content expression turned sour.

Alarmed, Bucky wrapped his arm around her but she kept squirming. It wasn't until he wrapped his metal arm around her waist that she relaxed.

Looking at her in awe, she was so perfect that she saw his light even when he is drowning in darkness. Even when she doesn't even realize what she was doing, Y/N comforted Bucky even in her sleep.

She seemed to love his arm and insisted him that it's what made him Bucky. It shaped him and he wouldn't be the person he is today. She loved him and didn't stop telling him.

He pressed a kiss on the backside of her hand as she drifted into a more peaceful sleep.

His icy blue eyes scanned their intertwined hands and their fingers tangled together perfectly. Their palms touched, leaving no spaces and air pockets.

It reminded him of their lips and their bodies when they touched. There was no air pockets, somehow. All the empty spaces he had in him were filled up, including his heart. She seemed to complete him, as corny as it sounds.

And Bucky was greedy. He wanted her all to himself, scared that she might leave and he will be empty again. But she hasn't shown any signs of leaving, giving her all to him.

Bucky wanted her to stay, to keep her safe, happy and give her his all. All the empty spaces in their long talks were filled up by her, she explained everything including her life and the modern time period.

Her laughter filled the empty space that the HYDRA base left in him as all he heard was gunshots and slamming of doors.

Her smile filled the hollow space that his brainwashed brain forgot to smile and showed emotions.

She filled the bare needs he wanted. He wanted for someone to love him, and he wanted his normal life back. Even if that's impossible, he almost believed it was possible when he was with her.

Tracing her waist and stomach with his cold metal finger, she fluttered her eyelashes and woke up. Y/N greeted him with a smile.

"Morning, handsome." She said, snuggling into his shirt that had his scent stained on it.

"Morning, doll." He greeted back, kissing her head and holding her tighter as he reassured himself that she wasn't going anywhere.
