Barry glanced at the tattoo on his torso and his calf. Taking the last glance at his own tattoo, it was a small black lighting bold with yellow electricity sparks wrapping around it.
Iris's and Patty's tattoo planted on his legs as his other lovers were planted on the rest of his body as he pulled his shirt over his head.
Sighing, he raked his fingers through his wet hair from his shower. His room smelled like shampoo and the coffee he had earlier.
His fingers opened the window, letting the sunlight and outside air stream in.
The door rang, causing Barry to snap out of his little fairy tale like state. He rushed down stairs and peeked through the peephole before opening the door for the person behind it.
Y/N grinned at him, her hair a little messy. Her f/c hoodie hung loosely on her chest as she walked in.
"Hey." She said, waltzing into the kitchen.
"Yeah, sure Y/N, you can come in." Barry said, sarcastically. "Thanks so much for asking."
Y/N ignored him, grabbing a box of cookies before passing him one.
"So, Bar..." Her eyes scanned his figure. "Damn, nice abs." She said, wiggling her eyebrows and smirking. Shamelessly admiring his body as she munched on the cookie.
Barry flushed, before snatching the cookies out of her hands and walking back to the kitchen.
"I'm thinking about just staying in." Barry mumbled.
"And go on a Netflix marathon?" Y/N teased. "Don't you have some saving to do?"
He waved off her comment, "I can do that also. It called multitasking, Y/N, heard of it?"
"Shut up, Barry."
Barry went back upstairs to dry his hair before coming back down. Seeing Y/N frowned, looking at her phone.
"What wrong?" He asked.
"Oh.. It's just that this dude was going to ask me something." Her frown shifted into a smile. "Never mind him, I'm thinking Daredevil or Sherlock?"
Y/N avoided the topic about the dude while she started Sherlock. Barry tried to pry some information out of her but got nothing.
Her eyes caught a glance at his legs through his shorts. She pointed at it and looked up at Barry, questioningly.
"Who's the lucky one?" She asked, raising a eyebrow.
"Well, that one was Iris." Barry said, with a heavy voice. Then, changing to a lighter tone. "It's in the past."
"How many do you have?" She asked, surprised.
"I don't want to talk about it." Barry shook his head. "What about you? How many do you have?"
"Not many, since they are all fictional." She muttered a curse word "damnit." under her breath.
Barry smiled.
She glanced up at his green eyes, letting the sparkling e/c clash with the emerald green eyes.
"Do you have any recently?" Barry asked.
"Well, there's this one guy... I don't know." Barry felt a familiar pang in his heart.
The familiar pang when he saw Iris and Eddie.
Oh shit.
"Barry, you have someone on your arm." She said, glancing at his arm.
Barry knew exactly what it was. He shifted his body to hide it. "Probably the other tattoo." He shrugged.
She gave him a disbelieving look. But her phone ringed, interrupting her gaze.
She took her phone out and her eyes lighted up a little.
Y/N smiled a little.
"You know the guy I just told you about?" She asked, Barry nodded. "Well, our date was going to be off tonight but looks like it's back on."
Barry felt his hear grow another fifty pounds.
"Oh. That's great." Barry offered a fake smile.
She was beaming. "I can't wait, I'm too excited."
Barry held the same strained smile on his face as he teared his gaze to the TV.
He hoped the ice cream in his freezer was enough to cure another damaged heart.
Why do this keep happening to him?"
