Natasha snuck a glance at Y/N who was on the other side of the small room. Her face looked casually bored while she leaned against a couple crates as Steve debriefed on the mission.

Suddenly, her e/c eyes shot up and met Nat's green ones. Smiling a little at her caused Natasha to look away.

"Okay, team." Steve said, rolling up the blueprint. "Let's go."

"Auto bots, roll out!" Clint said, smiling as some people chuckled.

The bottom hatch of the plane opened and Steve jumped first with Y/N and Natasha following behind.

Natasha felt her red hair whip behind her as the cold air tore at her skin and suit.

She tugged at the parachute rope and her body jerked up, lifting her from the hard impact and softening it. The camouflage parachute fell around her and pooled at her feet as she slid into a nearby tree, stuffing the fabric back into the backpack and kicking it under the bushes.

The pack of soldiers walked by her just as planned, so she ducked into a tree watching them from above.

Sweeping her eyes across the open forest, she saw blonde hair swish by to the front gate where another figure waited.

Natasha skidded across the dirt floor, meeting Y/N and Steve.

"You got the drugs?" Y/N joked.

"What?" Steve looked at her surprised. "No—"

"Relax old man, just a joke." Y/N chuckled at his reaction.

"Shut up." Natasha hushed.

"Why don't you make me?" Y/N grinned smugly at Nat.

Natasha stared holes into her e/c eyes but Y/N refused to back down. Challenging her, she stared right back.

"There!" Steve interrupted.

His body moved in a swift movement to punch the guard while Y/N turned around and gagged the other before he was about to scream.

Natasha opened the gate a little as she rolled her body in smoothly. Holding a small handheld gun in one hand she directed it at any hostile targets.

None of the guards on the watch towers notice, those nincompoops.

"Where's Clint when you need him?" Y/N muttered as she leaned against the crates next to Nat.

"He should be down already." Steve said from the other side as they looked out anxiously.

Then, without warning, two guards from the nearest watch tower slumped down on to the ground.

Nat smiled as the earpiece crackled to life.

"You thought I ditched you didn't you?" Clint's familiar voice said in their ears.

"Knowing you, probably thought it would be funny." Y/N said.

They rushed into the center base, pressing their bodies against the cold, metal wall.
