He sighed, his hands stopped writing as she invaded his thoughts again. His mind scrambling for anything to take his mind off of her. Bruce was desperate, almost in a state of confusion or anger.

But he knew it was only him to blame, for he dug this hole for himself to drown in pity from.

After all, he walked right into her trap, naively thinking how he was never going to fall for something like this.

Her sparkling eyes reflected everything good about him as her wise words held double meaning, wether it was a dirty joke or advice. Her hair was soft he remembered combing his fingers through it as she was asleep during another movie marathon, her soft breaths calmed him as he was in a content state of peace.

Bruce knew her reputation though.

A empress of her game, a honey-coated ice heart, A mastermind of the game of love.

At least that's how Bruce likes to think of it.

A game.

But if it was a game, it was hers. And it would be called the game of love.

Love as in friendship, or relationship. She did it all, broke it and pushed the limits so far that it was unfixable, just how she liked it. Broken. Her lips curved into a sadistic smile.

A game that kept reforming so she could break it all over again.

The one that he openly walked into. The one that he thought so naively that he would be her little chess piece. That he could actually walk out.

Bruce snorted at the thought. You can't just walk of your emotions.

So here he was, on the board, standing in front as her current favorite as the others from behind glared at him.

He was facing against himself, trying to get over the fact that she was the enemy and he should be fighting her.

But she just sat on the beautiful throne, smiling at us and coaxing him into her love. Her eyes that turned warm when she looked at him, but cold when she looked away.

So here he was now, standing on the battlefield once again.

But this time, it was against her.

Her sweet smile and the bitter betrayal was still fresh as her honey-sweet voice rubbing in the salt on the fresh wound as he tried not to be entranced. Her eyes were burning, with madness and happiness as her lips formed a sadistic smile he grew to love and hate.

The others offered him a encouraging or pitying smile, telling him that it was ok.

But it wasn't, not when your feelings are falling apart and all you knew was gone, especially when you thoughts are all numb as you try to interpret what's going on.

And here he was now, stronger that before as he turned to face against himself.

Part of him tried to tell him that all, that was real and she was just forced, but her sickening sweet smile on the other side scolded him for thinking such stupidly.

Most of all he knew was gone.

But the game of love still remained, with her smiling on the other end, and him sinking deeper into the board, consumed by the game.

The game of love which she played so well in.
