Called and Said Bye (Bruce Wayne x Reader)

Y/N grinned as she walked into the quiet, yet busy cafe.

The scent if coffee filled her nose as she walked into line.

She was just about to pull out her phone, when a person tapped on her shoulder.

"Excuse me, are you Y/N?" A girl asked, looking concerned.

"Yeah," this must be one of Bruce's many admirers.

"You should check on Bruce," she said, "I read somewhere that he was—"

"I don't like to read gossip magazines." Y/N cut off.

"No! I meant, you should really check up on him." She said, worried.

Y/N felt anxiety work its way up her doubts, is something wrong with him?

The girl pulled out her phone and found a gossip magazine, inside showed pictures of Bruce and a brunette girl.

They where obviously more than friends, seeing that his hands where on her waist and thigh.

"I try not to read those stuff." Y/N trying to smile, feeling hurt press against her heart.

"I think you should break up with him." The girl said, coldly, scoffing at the picture of Bruce and the brunette girl.

"Uh, thanks." Y/N replied.

After her order, she sat down nearby, searching up the article the girl showed her.

This is silly, Bruce wouldn't cheat on you.

Y/N felt doubt creeping back in at her thought. Bruce was gone for a business vacation in Hawaii for 3 months now. Sure, you FaceTime and call each other a lot.... But a part of Y/N felt as if this would be something Bruce would do.

She scrolled through all the comments on the article and all the tweets about this but eventually called Bruce.

"Hello?" A girls voice was heard clearly on the other line.

"Hi, can I speak to Bruce?" Y/N tried to be polite when all she wanted to do was spill her fresh hot coffee all over this girls head.

"He's in the shower." The girl responded. Y/N heard some sheets shuffled around.

Y/N felt her fist tightened. "Who is this?"

"Rebecca."     [just change the name if if this is your name]

"Did your last night activities include the bed?" Y/N said, icily.

"Uh... Yes?"

"You can tell Bruce that Y/N called and said bye." Then, she smashed the end button, throwing her coffee away as she left.
