I thought of his idea while looking back on my Random One-Shots book.

There was a similar one shot that was Steve instead and takes place after the Civil War.

I unsure you that it's just as good, along with the other one shots on the book. Check it out! 😊

Y/N set her book down on the table as she sighed.

She has been thinking a lot about her relationship with Tony.

About him always gone and him always is danger.

About him not even greeting her sometimes even when he does come home.

And his sorry excuses for partying and sleeping with girls.

There was even a rumor that he slept with Pepper.

Y/N frowned as she walked into 'their'
bedroom.

She stared out onto the empty beach.

A swirling mess of thoughts clouded her mind.

He didn't even mention her in interviews or anything.

You doubted that the avengers knew you existed.

She had a stable job, she had money, and she was cable of surviving on her own.

She didn't need Tony,

Especially if he's going to cost her every blue moon.

Sometimes, she felt like she was dating a wealthy ghost.

Anger soon started to consume her as she thought about it more.

That was it.

She was going to leave.

Y/N flung open their closet and began packing everything into her suit case and duffle.

After an hour, she managed to at most of her clothes. Another half a hour for her belongings.

She placed her heavy baggage at the front door and began buying tickets to the place where she always wanted to live.

After that, she looked down and sighed, realizing that she was stuck in a loose tee, sneakers and sweats for the rest of the journey.

'When should I leave?' She asked herself as she grabbed a granola bar out of the kitchen.

Y/N decided to leave a letter, the old fashion way.

Then, satisfied with her work, she slept in the bed, waiting for tomorrow to come.

That night she dreamed up Tony.

It was scenario.

In it, you and him where married.

And you guys had a pretty little girl.

And she would always ask where's her dad.

And you would reply, "Gone."

And she would come home with a picture of you and her as her family.

And you would turn bitter.

Then you two would run away.

And find another person that would make you two much happier.

But your daughter would live with the pain of your mistake,

Your mistake of staying.

And you would regret every moment in that empty house.

_____

Y/N called a car to pick her up as she grabbed a hoodie she forgot to pack and her wallet containing her money she saved up.

Her eyes scanned the road for a car.

A grey van rolled up and you climbed in.

And then,

You left.

Leaving Tony to cry in his alcohol.

Leaving what you thought would last,

But it burned down,

Just like the rest of your hopes.
