Bruce wore a clean crisp black suit as he walked across the glassy floors of the Mexican themed mansion.
One of the greeter men handed him a colorful decorated mask.
It was a dark navy blue and black embroidered with shiny green leaves that surrounded the blood red flower.
He was invited to a party, and being Bruce, he went. Especially since it was almost the day of the dead, that made him even more interested.
Bruce was about to get some taste of Latina women, when the crowd created a makeshift dance floor.
Couples or strangers glided across the dance floor as the music grew.
Since the party was much more dapper and formal, violins played, matching the cellos in the background.
A Latina girl grabbed his bicep and beckoned him to dance with her.
Her brown hair was gracefully tied up in a messy bun, with shining brown eyes that contrasted against the white and red traditional designed dress. The loud music shifted into another song, and dance coupled switched partners.
Bruce felt himself move along with the crowd as he wrapped his arms around a sleek black dress.
His eyes met e/c eyes.
She was beautiful with h/c hair and her sleek black dress was embroidered at the bottom with traditional flowers. It was the perfect combination of modern and traditional.
Her hair was down and framed her smiling masked face. Her mask was white and a peach color, decorated with black roses and bright green leaves.
"Hey," She greeted, a slight accent in her voice.
Bruce smiled back, "Hi."
"You're not from around here." She noticed, grabbing his wandering hands back to her waist.
"Speak for yourself." Bruce replied. He wasn't lying, she looked straight out of a story book with her memorizing soft but firm voice and perfected face.
"I study here," she said, "You?"
"Visiting." He said, wondering if everyone was beautiful as her.
The music shifted once again, causing him to be disappointed that he couldn't spend more time with the e/c eyed goddess.
"May we meet again," She winked, then leaving him for another partner.
That's when Bruce realized that he didn't even get her name.
But her h/c hair already evaporated into the crowd.
