Chapter 40

Hours past after the first guy went off on stage. I felt half asleep. No one came up to me to talk to me. Geo was still with Loren. I was just sitting on this dusty sofa, trying my best to keep my eyes open and my head straight. But then, Geo ran to the stage and I instantly knew what was happening.

Everyone screamed as loud as they could. But then, Geo said the word I was dreading for for hours.

Leo.

"Who wants to see Leo up on stage??" He yelled. 

The entire room was full of screams. I stood up, feeling my legs tremble. It was time for me to come on stage, I could see Geo staring at me with his arm extended so I could grab his hand. But I just stood there in complete panic until someone pushed me towards him.

I grabbed Geo's hand and he helped me walk to the middle of the stage. I felt my cheeks blush when I realised how frightened I must look right now, but the fans seemed to love it. And I suppose that's all that matters.

"How are you feeling Luc?" He asked, giving me my own mic. I grasped onto it and put the mic right up close to my mouth.

"G-good." I stammered, feeling my cheeks blush yet again. "Speechless and shocked, but good."

Geo put his arm off my shoulder and began talking to the fans about us doing a q&a. But, to be honest I thought Leo was over. I thought we broke up. 

Ugh. I'm confused.

"How did you both meet?" Was the first question.

Geo started this one. He could tell that I was nervous. 

"One of my closest friends from high school was shopping with Lucy. I went up to them and me and Lucy got along instantly." He said, grinning at me. I grinned back at him, completely forgetting about the huge crowd watching us.

It was then my turn. I choose a girl with brown hair in a pixie cut.

"When did you both begin falling in love with each other?"

A rush of memories flooded my mind when Ariel told me about Geo only going out with me to see Loren get jealous. I'd be interested to hear Geo's response to this.

"We were drunk.." I quickly stopped myself say anything else when I realised that what I'm about to say is really personal. But Geo allowed me to carry on. "And us being us, we kissed. We didn't kiss because we liked each other, we kissed for fun. But, after the kiss I found myself falling in love with him. And I still do 'till this day."

I shyly smiled and stared at my shoes. Now it was Geo's turn.

"Next question." Geo said, pointing his microphone towards another fan.

I looked at him in shock. Wow, did he really just avoid a fans innocent question? So Ariel was right..

"Favourite memory?"

"Oooh I like this question!" Geo gasped, making the whole crowd laugh. "Hmm.. probably when we ran away together. Yeah.. that was awesome."

Until I found him and Loren kissing. I snapped silently, but I took a deep breath and put the mic close up to my mouth so I could tell the fans my favourite memory. Not going to lie, I was really mad at Geo for avoiding the question about when he developed feelings for me.

"Our first kiss." I giggled, giggling again when all the fans went "awww". "I had an argument with someone and I stormed out of their house, only to bump into Geo who I hadn't talked to since our last argument which I'm sure you're all familiar with." For some odd reason, me and Geo's argument was all over the internet about two weeks ago. It was weird but it didn't weird me out too much. "At first he seemed mad at me, but then.. he remembered about me, about the old times we shared. And we kissed."

Me and Geo's q&A went on for at least an hour. We were having so much fun, and so were all the fans. But we had to get pulled off by Zach and Nick because we were on stage for too long.

"Juwanyyyy!" Loren squealed as we both got off stage. She hugged him and Geo hugged her back. I looked at them both in disgust and slumped down onto the sofa, Zach joining me.

"Geo was acting.. strange, wasn't he?" Zach asked as we both stared at him and Loren.

I sighed and nodded. To be honest I was just glad that I didn't have to worry about being up on stage anymore until tomorrow morning.

I then closed my eyes and rested my head on the wall. I just need to forget about him right now.
