Part 50

"Lucyyy!" Ariel squealed when she opened her front door. I couldn't help but notice that she looked sorry for me. I tried to push away the thought when I gave her a weak smile and allowed her to hug me. Mario just stared at us both, but gave me a grin when I smiled at him.

"Let's go." He mumbled, running up the stairs. Me and Ariel followed and then slumped down on the bed. 

A beep came from my phone. I went to check who texted me, but Ariel took my phone away and opened it instead. I gave her a look full of shock but she ignored it.

"Hey." She read out, "can we talk about.." 

She quickly stopped herself from saying anything else as she pressed something on the screen.

"Oh um it was nothing." She added quickly, not looking me in the eye. "Uh just accidentally read an old message of yours haha."

I looked at her with raised eyebrows, but then just sighed and grabbed my phone. To be honest I don't really care anymore. I just care about Geo. If only he texted me.

Ariel nodded at Mario, but then looked at me and smiled. I looked at them both in confusion. 

"That wasn't Geo texting me was it?"

"NO!"  Mario yelled, blushing when he realised how loud he was.

"How would you know? You didn't even open the-"

"It wasn't him." Ariel interrupted. "Let's just talk about something other than that jerk."

The thing is he's the only thing I want to talk about right now. I just wish they didn't hate him so much. 

"How was the tlg tour-?"

"I said something other than that jerk." Ariel snapped, glaring at Mario. Mario whispered oops and then carried on leaning against the wall while scrolling through his phone.

"Terrible." I replied, ignoring Ariel's comment. "I tried to break up with Geo but he'd just-"

"SOMETHING OTHER THAN THAT JERK!" Ariel yelled. Me and Mario both stared at her in shock. She then covered her mouth with her hands, staring at us both back with wide eyes. "I'm sorry.."

"No no it's fine." I sighed, jumping when I felt my phone vibrate. "I understand. Can I just use the toilet..?"

Ariel nodded and I then ran to the toilet, slamming the door shut. I opened my phone as quickly as possible, checking the messages. I don't think I've ever been so excited about opening a text. It's from Geo, I just know it.

"Hey." I whispered as I read it aloud. "It's Zach. Just wanted to see if you were okay."

"UGHHHHHHHHH." I moaned. I really thought that it was Geo begging for me back.

Kinda I replied. I miss him so much though..

Zach didn't even need to ask who I was talking about

It's okay. He misses you too.

"Lucy, you okay?" I heard Mario yell.

"Yeah!" I yelled back. 

 I wish. Zach, please tell him that I love him, but don't tell him that I told you to tell him that. Be all like "Lucy really likes you y'know."

Uhh.. I'll try. Look I've got to go but I'll see you? 

Yeah. Bye Zach.

Bye. P.s: the tour isn't the same without you.

I smiled as I read the last text and then flushed the toilet even though I didn't use it and pretended to wash my hands.

Am I ever going to be able to talk to Geo again before I leave the country? I mean, my parents are already in my city. My parents are with Loren. Loren.She's bound to tell them that I'm with Ariel. She'd do anything just to be able to be with Geo again.
