The second Mario and the man were out of sight, I opened the door to the car which I noticed they hadn't locked and put one of my foots on the concrete. I stared at that foot whilst biting my lip, wondering whether it's worth escaping.
You only live once. Just do it.
Without thinking, I jumped out of the car and ran as fast as I possibly could to find Geo.
He needs me. I'm doing the right thing.
I was about to run into the airport but skidded when I heard a familiar voice.
Mario.
I slowly hid behind a bin and popped my head to the side to see him, the police man, Geo and Loren who's eyes were bloodshot. She was grabbing onto Geo, obviously not wanting him to leave. I stared at her in fury. That's my boyfriend who she's crying over.
"Mario just leave it!" Loren cried, pulling Geo towards her when Mario tried to grab Geo away.
The thing that annoyed me the most was that Geo was letting Loren do all of this.
Mario ignored Loren and put his face right up close to Geo's. "That's Lucy's hearts who you're breaking." He hissed loudly enough for me to hear.
Geo stared at him with sad eyes and opened his mouth to say something but got interrupted when I stood up and stood beside Mario.
"Oi, why aren't you in the car?" The police man spat, glaring at me.
"I'm sorry. I had to follow." I responded. I then turned my gaze to Mario. "Why am I going to get heart broken?"
"No reason." Geo quickly said, grabbing my hand. I angrily yanked my hand free from his grasp and looked at Mario again.
"Why am I going to get heart broken?" I repeated, more angrily this time.
"Because Loren and Geo kissed just then."
I stared at Mario in disbelief. And then at Geo in heart break.
"Really?" I asked, my voice sounding quiet and low.
"Yea, so what though?" Loren answered for Geo. "It's not like he likes you anymore. We kissed plenty of times on the tour anyway."
"Oh, I know." I spat. It was so tempting to rip her hair out right now but I knew it wouldn't be a good idea to do that in front of a police man. I then looked at Geo, who was staring at the ground in what looked like shame. "I never liked him anyway."
It was obvious that that was a lie but at that point I didn't care, I'd just say whatever would come out of my mind so he would get upset.
"It's ok." Mario whispered, grabbing my hand.
"I know." I shrugged. I then forced a smile. "Thanks anyway Mario."
Mario looked at my lips but I carried on staring at his eyes.
"Well, lets go kiddos." The police man muttered, sounding bored. He handcuffed Geo, ignored Loren's screams, and walked us all to the police car.
