I woke up to find Jack sitting on a chair beside me in an unfamiliar room. I then heard a gasp and slowly stood up, letting out a groan and rubbing my eyes, to then find Ariel sit on my bed and look at me with a happy expression.

"I was so worried about you!" She gasped, giving me a hug.

I stared at her in question and then turned to Jack who was looking at me with an amused gaze, obviously sensing my confusion.

"Oh yeah.. long story." Ariel giggled when she realised that she owed me an explanation as to why she was with Jack. "He wanted to see you so I went into your house and.. yeah." She then let out another giggle and added: "We heard a very confused sounding boy on the phone."

"Oh!" I gasped, letting out a grin. "Oliver."

"For some reason.. that name rings a bell. And so did his voice." Jack was staring at the floor with a frown. I then remembered days where me, Jack, Isla and Oliver would hangout together and let out a smile. Those were good times.

"We used to hangout with him." I told Jack whilst he stared at me looking genuinely interested. "Me and Oliver were best friends."

"Yeah.. I.. I think I'm starting to remember a lot more." Jack looked back up at me whilst staring at his hands for a few seconds and I felt my heart beat quicken when his eyes shone the same way they'd shine when we were dating. When I realised we were staring at each other for a while I quickly looked away, and felt my cheeks blush when Ariel nudged my arm.

I should stop getting excited about this. He's just excited that he's remembering stuff, he isn't looking at me as though he's in love. He never will.

"I need to go home." Ariel obviously only said that to give me and Jack some "alone time". I rolled my eyes but waved her goodbye anyway and then turned to Jack, a wave of awkwardness rushing over me. What do we do now?

I stared at his chocolate brown hair which was messy because of him ruffling it so much and slightly wavy. His light, brown eyes were fixed to my blue eyes as his cheeks blushed a light pink. Everything about him was handsome.

"I remember.. I.." His wide eyes stared at the floor and I could tell that he was feeling not only panic but nervousness. "Isla.. I still love her.." His eyes which were now filled with tears turned to me and he said in a low, deep voice: "I shouldn't have left her. She's pregnant, she told me days before I left and.. I've always wanted to go back to her ever since." He went up to me and sat down beside me on the bed, covering his hand over my shaking one. "Please take me to her. I don't care about school, Hazel, Geo or anyone. I need to see her Luc."

Although my heart was breaking over the fact that he must have always had a feeling for Isla, even when dating and living with me, I nodded and closed my eyes to allow tears roll down my flushed cheeks. I then looked at him and slightly jumped in shock when he wiped the tears around my eyes with his sleeve.

"I may love Isla, but you will always have a place in my heart." He whispered. "I just need to leave to England where I belong."

"I'm so sorry for stealing you away from her." I croaked, more tears streaming down my cheeks. "I wasn't thinking straight.. I was being selfish."

"I forgive you." Jack was staring at me with a warm smile and I couldn't help but give him one back. His eyes then lowered down to my lips and I couldn't help but do the same. Just as I thought we were about to kiss, he stopped and stood up straight.

"I'm sorry.." He sighed, staring at the floor.

I then tried to brighten myself up even though I was feeling anything but happy at this rate and nodded understandingly. "You're a father now." I said playfully, forcing a smile. "I understand."
