Chapter 60

Geo's POV

"Loren!" I yelled as I found her sitting outside the airport with her head in her hands. I ran towards her when she didn't react and crouched down beside her. "Can we talk for a second?"

She nodded, still hiding her head. I couldn't help but feel sympathy for her.  

"I'm sorry.." I sighed. Sorry isn't enough though. Sorry can't fix broken hearts.

I didn't want to say anything else because I was scared that I was going to mess everything up. Instead, I stared at the beautiful view which was in front of us. 

"Lucy and Mario got caught." Loren mumbled, looking at me now with her beautiful, bright eyes. I couldn't help but smile when she looked up at me. 

"What do you mean?" I asked.

"They're in a police station right now."

My smile instantly faded away. "Huh?" I said loudly, not realising how aggressive I sounded. 

Loren flinched as if I was going to hit her when I stood up. She then stood up with me and grabbed my hand. 

"I'm so sorry. I couldn't do anything  to help.." She whispered. Tears were now rolling down her eyes and I stared at her in confusion. Since when did she like Mario and Lucy? "But.."

She stopped herself and stared at the floor with completely sad and devastated eyes. "I just hate how Lucy's gotten in the way of us.."

I didn't really know what to say. I love Lucy, but then I've loved Loren since we first met so she does have a right to be upset. 

"I don't know." I shrugged, avoiding eye contact. 

I then looked back at Loren, who was staring at me. Her gaze then lowered down to my lips but I carried on staring at her eyes in complete shock. What do I do..?

I stared at her lips but then quickly back at her eyes. I can't be doing this. I can't betray Lucy again..

Loren leaned in towards me and I did the same without realising. My gaze was now focused on her lips, and before you know it my arms were hugging her waist and hers were hugging my neck and we were kissing. 

Lucy's POV

Mario tried to start a conversation with me but I ignored him and carried on staring at the window. The police man had driven past the place where Geo was sleeping but Geo wasn't there which means that he woke up realising that I've gone. 

He then parked his car and jumped up. 

"Mario, come with me. Lucy, stay in the car."

I nodded even though I so badly wanted to join them and find Geo. Mario jumped out of the car, but before he closed the door he looked at me with anxious eyes. I avoided eye contact by staring at my hands, pretending that I didn't know he was looking at me. Mario then closed the door and walked with the police man to the airport on their way to arrest Geo.
