Jack stared right into my eyes and grabbed my two sweaty but cold hands. He then squeezed them tight and said:
"Why don't we just go out? It'll make things easier."
"Maybe easier for you, but not for me."
Jack rolled his eyes but didn't argue. What I said is true, I have a boyfriend back in America who I'm still madly in love with. Before I know it i'll BE in America, away from Jack and happy that I never made a move with an idiot like him.
He then let go and stared at me an expression full of worry. "We're messed." He sighed.
"I know." I sighed back. "I don't want to loose Geo again.."
I then felt a wave of shame when tears began escaping from my eyes. Just as I thought I had Geo again I loose him. Jack stared at me for a while, looking hurt. He then quickly looked away when our eyes met.
"We can fix this." Jack reassured me, patting my back. He then began walking to the direction the cheeky boy ran towards, me trailing behind him and trying my best to not roll my eyes when I saw two star struck girls giggle when Jack walked past them. I can't really say much, I used to be the same when I was their age. I never thought I'd have a chance with anyone good looking. And now, here I am, one of the most good looking boys in my school head over heels in love with me.
"OI!" I heard Jack yell agressively when he caught the boy showing the video to a few girls who were staring with wide eyes. They both squeled when they saw Jack, and laughed their heads off whilst watching him run after the boy. I stayed where I was for a few seconds, wondering whether running after them was worth it. I then shrugged and began running, eventually catching up to Jack who had finally caught the boy.
"It's already on my Instagram!" The boy spat, glaring at Jack. "I'll delete it but others have shared it and saved it so what's the point?"
I could tell how badly Jack wanted to punch that annoying brat, so I held his hand and ignored Jack look at me with a suprised expression. He then stared at our hands and back at the boy, his tensed up body softening a little.
"You're dead to me." He hissed. He then walked away, suprisingly letting go of my hand. I couldn't help but feel a little disapointed but I slipped my hands into my pockets to act as though I didn't care.
We then decided to sit down on a bench so we could worry together. Jack put his arm around me and sat close. I wanted to move away but I didn't.
"I'll miss you when you leave to America y'know." He informed me whilst staring forwards. "I'll get over you, don't you worry. But just give me time. I know how much you love this Geo, I wont get in the way of you both."
"Thanks Jack." I smiled, snuggling close towards him even though I knew I shouldn't. "That's mature of you."
"I'll hate watching videos of you and Geo all cuddly together." He sighed. He looked really sad. I wanted to kiss his cheek because of how sorry I felt for him, I was so close to doing so. But I quickly stopped myself. Jack noticed and stared at my lips with a slight smile.
"We shouldn't Jack." I said, even though my eyes were focused on his lips. But Jack turned his head away so we defiantly wouldn't be able to.
"Just friends." He whispered.
I nodded. "Just friends."
