Everyone probably figured Annie's frustration would only last for a little while. They were certainly in for a treat.

"Annie, I don't know why you're so upset." Calum tried- and failed- to reason. "I was just trying to help."

"Oh sure." She replied sarcastically. "I'm so glad you helped me by blindfolding me and trying to keep me from knowing what the hell was going on!"

"I think he's right." Ashton spoke up. "He had good intentions."

"'Stop moving. Get on your knees. We're surrounded by people, and you're blindfolded, but get on your knees anyways and we'll flip a coin to see what I'll do!'" She mocked.

This car ride might be a while.

  Michael cleared his throat. "Annie-"

"Don't you even start telling me what I can and can't think, it's pretty clear to see your morals are the most screwed up here."

Luke raised his eyebrows. "Do you have any dirt on me?"

Annie crossed her arms. "You're a home-wrecking dick-sucking mother fuc-"

"Okay!" Luke quickly interrupted, before she could finish her sentence. "We get it! You're angry!"

Annie turned around in the shotgun seat, glaring at them. "Don't you think I have the right to be angry? I have episodes that I can't fully remember, because of something that happened against my will, and right now my entire body is covered in bruises I don't remember being formed? For all I know, you guys drugged me then beat me, and now are just telling me a lie."

"Be rational," Johanna chided, never taking her eyes off of the road. "They'd have no reason to do that."

Annie sighed, closing her eyes and trying to relax. "So what happened last night, exactly."

The boys looked at each other awkwardly. "Well, after you were, erm, triggered," Michael started before being cut off.

"No, tell me everything. What happened to trigger me?"

"Is it warm in here, or is it just me?" Luke asked, his cheeks flushing red with embarrassment.

Michael cleared his throat. "Well, I bumped into you-"

"Oh, come on Michael! Own up to it already!" Johanna exclaimed, getting frustrated too.

Setting his jaw, he made the decision to stop caring. "Fine. Annie, I slapped your butt after dinner, and you freaked. You started screaming and trying to attack me, but Calum grabbed you and dragged you into your room." He looked at the others expectantly, to finish the story.

"You kept screaming and hitting the door," Ashton intoned, trying to explain what happened plainly. "And I held the door closed so you couldn't get out."

"Sounds like fun," Annie commented dryly.

"Then Johanna said we needed to, quote unquote, 'shut you up', and Calum and I went into the room to get you."

Annie bit her lip, glancing at Johanna. "How nice. Calum?"

Calum grimaced. "I don't remember the fight very well. You tried to punch me, I think, and I tackled you, then you jumped on the bed and hit the wall-"

"Wait, I jumped off the bed into the wall?" Annie clarified.

"No, not quite." Ashton said, feeling embarrassed. "I caught you and the momentum made it so you were swung into the wall-"

She pursed her lips. "Obviously, I'm so glad you caught me."

"-and then there was a bit more of a tussle, and you ran out of the room, and, I, erm, I-" he let his sentence hang out in the air.
