Annie sat cross-legged on her bed, thinking. She didn't want to go to sleep. She wasn't even tired. But Calum...

She should try. No, it was stupid. Yes, she needed some good sleep. But what if-

No, she needed some good sleep. Annie eyed the door. Just maybe not quite yet....

Annie was making her way to the kitchen when she heard some giggling coming from Calum's room. He was practically delerious when Johanna dropped him off. He couldn't walk in a straight line and couldn't wipe the stupid smile off his face, his eyes wandering as he sang the SpongeBob theme song groggily.

Annie bit her lip, walking up to his door and pressing her ear against it. Calum was talking, to himself apparently. She strained to hear what he was saying.

"And she's really hot and funny and cute and she has this red hair and she doesn't make good eggs but it's okay because I do and she's even kissed me but I don't really know if she likes me. I don't know. I think- I don't know." He burst out in laughter. "I have a really big crush on her."

Annie pushed the door open, smiling. "Hey Calum. Who are you talking-" her face went pale when she saw that he was live streaming. She rushed forwards, trying to take the laptop from him but he pushed it back insistently, looking at the camera with excitement. "Look! This is her!"

Annie couldn't hide her smile. "Cal, they know who I am."

"Is she pretty? Annie, you should make your scrambled eggs for then sometime. They're really awful."

Sitting down on the bed next to him, Annie poked him on the side. "I'm learning. But your eggs are really good."

He started giggling, his face blushing pink. "Hi Annie."

"Hi Calum."

"Should I ask her?" He said, looking at the chat. "Okay. Okay. Okay. Okay okay. Yeah, okay." He looked at Annie, and she almost melted from the cuteness. "Just... you know... if you want to go out some time..."

Annie blinked. "Are you asking me out on a date?"

He kept giggling. "Yeah, yeah, I'm asking you on a date, yeah, okay, yeah. And, and, we can go to the movies if you want or I can borrow my mom's car and we can drive around and-" Annie leaned in, shutting him up with a kiss. He immediately dived in, wanting to make it deeper, more aggressive and passionate, but Annie pulled away- even though she didn't want to.

"But Calum, you know we're dating, right?"

His eyes lit up like Christmas trees. "We are?"

Annie nodded.

"That's great! Then I can cook you scrambled eggs and we can have sex and eat scrambled eggs off of each other's naked bodies!"

Annie snorted, lurching forwards. She looked at the laptop that was still recording them, trying to contain her laughter. "He is going to watch this tomorrow and just die." Turning back to Calum, she gave him a look. "How much did you have to drink anyways?"

He looked at his fingers, counting on them. "Ten."

Annie's eyes widened. "Ten? Ten what?"

He shook his head. "No, just ten."

Annie looked back at the camera. "He is so shit-faced. Tomorrow, he's going to die from hangover."

Calum was quiet so Annie looked back at him, waiting. "I think we should start now," he declared. "We can make scrambled eggs later."

Annie laughed at that. She tousled his hair, but her hand came back all sticky. "Eww, you're all gross and sticky."

"That's what the scrambled eggs are for!" He declared.
