Getting to the building was near impossible. Annie had to find a road that lead to the back of the complex, after the main entrance was surrounded by fangirls. Annie was walking around, trying to find another entrance, when she was pushed up against the brick wall, her back aching in protest.
She was still on a bit of a high from the annoying day at theater, so Annie found her instincts kicking in. She slammed her leg against the person, twisting her arms out of the grip and in one swift motion, wrapping her arm around their neck, shoving them down into a chokehold.
He held still for a moment, not struggling against her, and Annie was able to take a moment to try and figure out what the heck was going on. She caught her breath, keeping her grip firm against his neck. She had figure out it was a 'him'. In fact, she had figured out exactly what 'him' it was.
"The hell Michael," she said annoyed, not loosening her group.
He stayed silent, then in one swift move, grabbed behind her knees and swung her over his shoulder, forcing her to let to.
"I have to take a self defense class too," he reminded her. "And I've been taking it way longer than you have."
Annie crossed her arms as he straightened, waiting for him to set her down. "Great. So why'd you just attack me?"
He pursed his lips, beginning to walk away from where she had been headed, with Annie thumping against his back lightly. "Johanna sent me out to go find you. She wanted to make sure you weren't abducted by fans. You were about to be, by the way. Just around that corner, they were swarming."
Annie groaned. "You can set me down now."
He shook his head. "It's revenge for the chokehold. Also, my leg hurts."
"You're welcome for not kneeing you in the crotch," she commented sourly. "Although now that I think of it, I wish I had."
Michael started walking with more of a skip in his step, jostling Annie around even more.

"Michael," Calum warned as the purple-haired boy walked into the room, Annie still slung over his back.
"Chill. I was just... being helpful."
"Being annoying," Annie corrected, as he set her back rightsided. Her face was a little red- maybe from being upside down so long, maybe from being in such close contact with Michael. She rubbed her sides sorely, sighing shakily.
"Annie!" Luke declared from the other side of the room, just noticing her.
She walked over to where he was, and he quickly guided her to a window overlooking outside. "Look at that!" he said excitedly, pointing outside. A hoard of fans had collected, causing a public disturbance and making it near impossible for anyone to exit the building.
Calum could just see the swarm of people outside from the wall he was leaning up against. But he was more focused on Luke's arm around Annie's waist, and their close vacinity as they pointed out the different people in the crowd.
Okay, maybe he was a little bit jealous. It had taken Annie a while to trust him again after the incident with Mikey so many months ago. He had prided himself on that. When she was in trouble, he was the one who knew how to help, he was the one who could make things better. But now, Annie trusted most of the other boys a lot more. She even let herself be carried by Michael, although based on the way he was rubbing his neck, she hadn't just given in immediately.
And... okay, sometimes the fan theories got to Calum. Obviously, Annie and Luke would never have anything going on, but sometimes, he wondered if the fans were right. Maybe...
