"This isn't right." Annie whispered.

"Does it feel right? If it feels right, it can't be wrong." His hand was placed on the small of her back purpously- dangerously.

"But what if he finds out?"

"He doesn't have to know. This can be our little secret."

Annie bit her lip seductively, glancing down. "Maybe... maybe just once."

He moaned, pulling her closer to his body, looking down. His hands trembled against her back, rubbing it hintingly.

Annie smiled, leaning forwards against his chest, running her fingers through his blond hair. She pulled at the back of his hair, tilting her head to the side and leaning forwards....

"Cut!" The director announced. Annie pulled back, dropping the smile. "Sebastian, you need to be more forceful. And Ruthy, you need to flow with it. Straighter posture. Sharper movements."

Annie nodded. Her character, the flirtatious and promiscuous Ruthy, was supposed to be madly in love with Thomas's character, the muscular servent, who swept the floor and in turn, swept up her heart. Unfortunately, Ruthy was engaged to be married to Fernaldo, the lustfull accountant and part time secret agent.

The plot line was complex, with Ruthy's storyline one of the simpler. She didn't know that her fiancé was a secret agent, and he didn't know that she was sleeping with Sebastian. Sebastian, on the other hand, knew that Fernando was a secret agent, and as doing everything he could to get him and Ruthy caught. It turned out, Sebastian was not in love with Ruthy, but with Fernando- and it was his belief that if Fernando caught him together with Ruthy, he would fall for him.

There was more. Ruthy's step father, the wealthy potato farmer Joseph, had an underground drug ring. Sebastian- the secret agent and Ruthy's fiancé, was in charge of ending the drug cartel once and for all. But, as the audience would find out at the end of the play, Sebastian was actually Joseph's long lost son.

It was complex, it was dramatic, and it was completely sexist. There were only two females in the entire play- Ruthy, the slutty daughter, and Margeret, the housewife with the low cut dress. Annie hadn't known just how bad the play was when she auditioned- but she decided she would stick with it. It was still fun to act, and at least Thomas- the guy playing Sebastian, Ruthy's in-the-closet-hook-up-partner- was fun to be around. He didn't like touch, which was odd, but when he played a character he didn't care.

In the play, Ruthy (Annie's character) ended up kissing Sebastian five times, Fernando twelve times, and a stable boy once 'on accident'. Annie knew because earlier that week, she and Calum had laid on their living room floor going through the script and counting each kiss.

They'd talked about it, of course. They decided that as long as it was just part of the play, it was fine. It would be different if Annie was kissing other people because she liked them. Although Calum had made one request- to at least let the other cast members know she had a boyfriend, so they didn't get any ideas. Annie was more than happy to comply.

She wouldn't tell them who her boyfriend was though. That was something Annie was insistent on- she didn't want to get the part because of her boyfriend. She didn't want anyone trying to get close to her because of her relationship with Calum.

At the end of the day, they were all packing up to go home, and Thomas asked Annie if she needed a ride. "No thanks," she replied, trying to make the words sound natural even though she'd practiced them. "My boyfriend's picking me up."

"Oh, cool. What's his name?"

Annie tapped her chin joking. "Hmm. I usually just call him 'idiot', but I'm sure he has a normal name too."

Thomas laughed. "Nice. I have to go, but maybe you could introduce us sometime?"

"Maybe," Annie said with a smile, waving goodbye.
