"Congratulations Miss Brelle for being the top employee for three consecutive years! Imagine that?! No wonder because your works is very awesome!"

"It's my pleasure, Mister Avilde. Without you, I think I will not be on this position. Thank you for trusting and accepting me." I hugged him and the other staffs of our company.

"Blowout!" Jenna shouted. I laughed because of her immaturity.

"Yeah. We need to have a celebration party for Miss Annica's promotion. What do you think guys?" Mister Avilde ask.

"If there's food, then I'll come." Rea retorted. Her words made us all laughed.

"You guys never fail to amaze me! It's like that, we're talking seriously here, then you'll going to say something that can make the heavy atmosphere vanish." I committed. They laughed. "Okay okay. Let's have a celebration tomorrow night. But for now, I'm going to go home first because I need to finish my project now." I managed to say my thank you again before packing up my things.

I'm Annica Brelle. No more Princess Trinity Villegas. I've been Annica since I left the Philippines five years ago. I made my decision a few years ago to live a new life here in California. I changed my name so that my parents won't find me. I also cut my conversation with them. I really wanna live with my decisions. I changed my physical appearance so that nobody can notice that I'm Princess. I closed my bank accounts and open up a new one as Annica. And I graduated my master's degree here in California. I started to live a simple life here. No more likers, followers, bashers. No more everything. Except myself.

I opened my car and I sit there for a minute while thinking if how's everything that I've left. How's them? Especially, him?

I sighed. It's been five years. Five hell years. But still, I haven't move on yet.

Will they forgive me for the mess that I did? Or did they already forgave me because it's been five years?

Bumalik lang ako sa reyalidad ng tumunog ang cellphone ko. And oh yes. I still can speak Filipino after staying here in California. I just rarely use it because the people here cannot understand that words.

"Hello?"

[Hi sweetheart!] Masayang bati ni Jerome sakin.

"Hey there. How's your day?"

[I was quite busy today. I'm sorry for not texting and calling you a while ago.]

"It's okay, I understand."

[That's why I love you. You're very understanding, sweetheart. And oh! Jenna told me that you've been promoted to your work. Is that true?]

"Hmm." Isinandal ko ang ulo ko sa headrest ng sasakyan while massaging my forehead.

[So you're supposed to be happy, right? But why are you like that?]

"Like what?" Natatawang tanong ko.

[It looks like you're not happy. Aren't you?]

"Who wouldn't be happy if they've got promoted in their work? Of course Im happy. It's just that, I'm tired, okay?"

[As what you've said so. Anyway, do you want me to drop by in your house before I go home?]

"For what?"

[To check your condition, probably. And to celebrate your promotion.]

"No need. Let's see each other tomorrow. I have many things to do."

[Okay bye. I love you.]

I sighed. "Hmm." Pinatay ko na ang cellphone ko bago nag-simulang mag-maneho pauwi.
