Happy Pi Day!!!!
Today, was great. I woke up, my hair a mess, and was smiling! Today was the day all of this hair would be shaved off for St. Baldricks day!
St. Baldricks. It is an organization that raises money to help cure childhood cancer. And, only if the participant wants to, if their hair is longer than 8inches, the hair can be donated. Or even of you don't have enough hair, you can still shave to how support for those who do have cancer. For more information, go to their website. It's a GREAT cause.
I didn't get to shave until 10th hour. But that's ok. I couldn't wait!
We had a horrendous schedual today because of the St. Baldricks assembly at the end of the day. So, 5-15 minutes were taken off each class. Some classes took this day as a shit day. (Or in better terms, a lazy day)
In math class, we celebrated Pi Day. You know.. Because it's 3.14 .... Ahahaaaa! Yeah. Well, we played "Pin the Radius on the Circle" and determined the king and queen of Pi. You had to measure the circumference of your head, and divide it by the diameter. And whoever was closest to Pi, was the king/queen. I got 1.91. A girl named Melissa got 2.02. She won the queen position. Then we all ate circular cookies.
In Spanish class, we watched the Spanish version of Toy Story. With Spanish subtitles. If course.
In band, I actually got to learn something REALLY useful. Transitions. I think. Like, learning how to read a flute part if you play the tuba. It was really cool. And I finally learned what instrument I am. (there's C,E flat, B flat, and D) I'm a C! Finally I now know.
In English, we graded eachother's rough drafts of our papers. My paper was practically flawless. Only grammar errors. Since it was written by hand, and not computer.
Then, 10th hour was the exciting moment!!! I met up with David, who really wanted me to get shaved with him, and we went to the gym to get shaved. Most girls cry because they are sad that their hair is gone. I almost cried because it was finally gone!!
I was really happy.
Then, during the assembly, I really didn't pay attention. I just say of the the side and talked to Libby. Which, I discovered, had David and I's ENTIRE Wedding planned out. And we aren't even dating. Then someone was able to get David over by us, and she ran I've to him, an told him, every thing she just told me.
The look on his face said it all.
Now I kinda wish I didn't say anything about liking Her....
'Her', meaning me.
I was actually laughing. It was really amusing to see David protest about having jazz at our wedding, rather protest about me being his bride. I think we're both used to Libby saying things like this. She's so excited about a relationship that doesn't exist yet. She even has the time in her head. She has everything. Let me just fill you in:
David is to propose to me when I'm 24, so she has a year to buy and book everything. I'm not getting married at a church. It's going to be a winter wedding. Our wedding is purple and music themed. (Which, I really like the music idea) my shoes will have pictures of lost loved ones, and I'll have a white dress that's like a tank top, and at the waist poofs out. I'll have a black lace over me. David will be wearing a purple bow tie(according to her, purple sets his hair color off really well) she will be the maid of honour, wearing a beautiful purple dress and music themed shoes, while the others will be wearing a darker purple dress and music head bands. The groomsmen will be wearing purple shirts with music bow ties. Our wedding cake will have 5 tiers if it's a large wedding. 3 tiers if it's a small wedding. The cake will have a music design on it. And the little figurines will be customized to were the groom is playing the drums, and the bride is playing the bass. (David actually loved this idea) for the flower girl, she won't be throwing flowers, but sheet music in the shape of notes. The reception(I think it's called) will have jazz, with blue lighting. Then our band will play. (Me: "So the bride and groom will be playing music for the audience to enjoy?" Libby: "Yup!!") For food, there will be a buffet so guests can eat whatever they wants. Also, we will be married in North Carolina somewhere, and out honeymoon will be in New York in the winter.
Yea. This is what I can remember. I wonder how long she has been planning a wedding for two people who aren't even dating eachother.
Well, I came home after school, did the dishes, and almost fell asleep. I was exhausted. Mom ordered some Chinese food, (YUM) and we watched a movie, called "The Bag Man" because it had Robert DeNiro in it.
Then, Mom, Collin, and I all took a pain pill. We were all "high". Not really, it wasn't illegal, don't get worried. But we we laughing and telling stories. And we were only halfway through the movie. So we finished the movie.
And I am going to admit, for the first time, this pain medicine made me really crave David. I believe this medicine brings out my deepest emotions, and desires out. Well, at least now I truely know that I love David. Ahaha....
Well, after the movie, I was really tired, and happy. So I went to bed. And, well, since I'm mostly bald, (they leave, like, a millimeter of hair on your head) my cat started licking my head when lied down. For almost 20 minutes! It felt so weird. But I eventually fell asleep. Smiling.
So, to all my readers,
Keep Smiling!
