A/n - Sequel to Play House.
After Manon got her first taste of bossing around four teenagers instead of just Marinette, she started begging for the opportunity to do it again. Since it had turned out a better bonding experience for their group than any other they'd gone through so far, her friends agreed to become a five-year-old's playthings again.
The second time they met up, the little girl waisted no time in sending Marinette up the stairs to her loft bed, wich was serving as the tower to imprison the princess. Nino was stationed on the stairs, pacing up and down, growling about how he was going to fatten up the princess until she was ready to eat. Next, Manon turned her attention to reprimanding someone who had defied direct orders about how to attend the next game of make-believe.
Alya's experience with children allowed her to convince Manon that she was indeed a unicorn, but she couldn't show her true form because they could never be sure who might walk in on them while they were playing. Manon calmed down once Alya assured her that being in human form wouldn't hamper her ability to help the knight Sir Adrien to locate the princess's tower.
After that, Adrien 'killed' Nino, and Adrien and Marinette had their role-play characters married for the second time in a row. Marinette was able to enjoy it a little more now that she knew Adrien didn't mind these games, but being paired with him a second time proved that it was no fluke, Manon was doing it on purpose. Hopefully Adrien would think it was all Manon's idea, and not that Marinette had prompted her in any way. Lucky, the wedding was still in progress when Nadja returned, so they were saved from re-enacting building and family - medieval style.
Now everyone was back for a third go-around. They somehow couldn't get enough of the benign despot of a girl. She made them explore topics that they secretly enjoyed, yet would never touch on their own.
Nino was dissatisfied with the last two roles he had received, and made an appeal to the little girl. "Please, may I play somebody cool this time?"
Manon thought about it. He'd been compliant in the last two games, he deserved to be a star. "Okay," she agreed "you can be Chat Noir.".
For some reason, this summoned a strangled snort from Adrien. Aparently he couldn't imagine his best friend acting as the superhero. Neither could Marinette, but she wondered if her crush knew enough of her partner to rightly assess his character.
"And Uni can play Ladybug!" Manon continued.
"Yes! I'm going to nail this!" Alya exclaimed excitedly "I study Ladybug for hours every day!"
"Yeah... Good luck with that." Marinette chuckled.
--
"Chat Noir! The akuma is in his hat!" Alya actually did do a fairly good job imitating the more self assured voice that Marinette took on as Ladybug.
"Right! Uh..." Nino hesitated "I know he'd likely make some kind of pun at this point, but I'm afraid I'm no good at that sort of thing."
"How about, 'I'm sorry Sir, we've been chasing you all day, but we're going to have to take your hat to top it off.'" Adrien supplied.
Marinette giggled. Who knew Adrien could be so silly when the mood struck him?
"Lucky charm! Bring forth a leaf blower!" Alya made the Ladybug doll jerk her arm up in the air as though she were throwing something.
"Actually, Ladybug has no control over what comes from her lucky charm." Adrien pointed out Alya's error. "It's usually some crazy item that she doesn't immediately know what to do with, but she always figures it out, wich makes her all the more amazing!"
