Alya was walking past the Agreste mansion one day when she saw Chat Noir jump out of Adrien's bedroom window.
Had Marinette been witness to this event, she would have thought 'what was Chat Noir doing in my crush's bedroom?' But Alya, being Alya, jumped to a different conclusion; for once, correctly. 'Adrien Agreste is Chat Noir!'
Normally, any Ladybug and Chat Noir-related news went directly to her blog. However, by a self-imposed rule, all Adrien-related material went first to her best friend Marinette, who was head over heels for that boy.
Alya set a course straight for Marinette's home, but got distracted when a notification on her phone told her there was an akuma in the area. Of course there was! Why else would Chat Noir have been heading out in uniform?
Alya rushed to video the fight, faithfully commentating every bit, before she returned to her previous task. Despite her delay, Marinette still wasn't home when Alya got there.
When a friendship gets to a certain level of closeness, the participants begin to feel at home in one another's homes. A/n - Or so I've heard. I've never been that close with anyone outside my family, and their home is literally my home too. Marinette and Alya had reached this point, so Alya let herself into her friend's room to wait. Soon, she heard the hatch creak open, but it wasn't the one in the floor. The noise had come from the hatch above Marinette's bed.
Alya watched in disbelief as a foot clad in red, black-spotted material lowered through the hole. An inelegant tumble later, the entire heroine was sitting up on the floor of the loft. "Tikki, spots off!"
Oblivious to her best friend's presence in the room, Marinette dropped her transformation, dropped onto her bed, and dropped off, exhausted from her fight.
Alya quietly backed down the stairs, considering what she should do with the information she had obtained.

The school was alive with people buzzing about the newest post on the Ladyblog. In every corner of the schoolyard, some group of friends was gathered in a huddle, one of them reading aloud to the others.
The Convoluted Love of Ladybug and Chat Noir
By now, Chat Noir's affection for his partner has become pretty common knowledge. Most assume it stops there. It most certainly does not!
Just in the recent days, I have fulfilled my ultimate goal of learning the secret identities of our beloved heroes. However, rather than crush the mystique about them, I have opted to keep their secret to myself. As I still owe something to my loyal readers, I will instead reveal some juicy details of their private lives that I doubt they even know about each other.
Though the titles they hold have been around for thousands of years, our modern Ladybug and Chat Noir are only in their teens - and they even go to the same school! While not as close as their alter egos, their civilian forms do consider themselves friends and have occasionally hung out outside of school. Had enough? I hope not; here comes the main course. LadyNoir shippers rejoice, because when the masks come off it's her turn to have a megacrush on him! That's right, our favorite unrequited loverboy isn't so unrequited after all.
If Ladybug and Chat Noir read my blog -which I happen to know they do - then we should be seeing a new couple forming soon. To you two lovebirds: I'm not sorry, you're welcome ~.
Adrien shifted uncomfortably. Did his lady really like him? If this was true, that was great news! Except, he still didn't know who she was. The scale wasn't balanced; if she'd read the same article on them, she would know exactly who he was. He gulped. Would she come to talk to him?
"Kitty?" a hesitant voice behind him asked. It looked like the answer to that was yes.
"M'Lady?" he asked, not turning his head just yet.
"It's really you!" she breathed. "Yes... I'm... well... not at the moment.... but... it's me."
"Do you mind if I look?"
"If you'd like."

"Alya." While her tone wasn't hostile either, Marinette's voice was surprisingly cold for addressing her best friend. "We need to discuss this breach of security."
Alya examined the faces of her hero friends, both of whom stood in front of her at this moment. Marinette was clearly taking this quite seriously. Beside her, Adrien attempted matching her expression, but Alya could read his true amusement at what he considered to be an overreaction from his partner. Down at their sides, the potential couple's fingers were brushing ever so slightly, as though they would be holding hands instantly should either one of them have a sudden burst of courage. Alya smiled. She knew she would be forgiven for helping them.
