A/n - I'm starting it of by jumping in midway on the generic reveal scene. I lost track of in how many different fanfictions I've seen Marinette say "I know you're probably disappointed" right after Adrien finds out that she's Ladybug, but if it ain't broke don't fix it.

Marinette looked down at the ground. "I know you had a crush on Ladybug, so it must be pretty disappointing that there's not someone more magnificent than me under the mask."

"Are you kidding me?" Adrien pulled her into an embrace, loosening his grip just a bit when he realized she was having a bit of trouble breathing into his shoulder. "I don't ever want to hear you talk down about yourself, understand? You're amazing, Marinette, and don't speak of my crush in the past tense. I was never able to control my feelings for Ladybug. I knew that when I found out who was under the mask, I was going to be stuck feeling that way no matter what. I was kind of scared what she might be like, but I don't have to be scared anymore. I'm not ashamed to have a crush on you."

Marinette couldn't really believe it her crush had just called her his crush. A) she was dreaming, B) he was teasing her cruelly, or C) she was the luckiest girl alive.

Adrien could see the disbelief in her eyes. "If this isn't okay with you, just push me away, you've done it plenty of times before." He leaned in, all the while anticipating a familiar finger on his nose, but it didn't come, and his lips connected with hers. She was frozen at first, but then, to Adrien's surprise, leaned into the kiss rather than away.

Could it really be 'C'?! It looked to Marinette that maybe it really was. She decided she'd rather risk looking like a fool than risk missing out on this opportunity. She forced herself to say "I like you too A-Adrien!" A blush spread across her face "I've been trying to get up the courage to say that for a while now, but I never thought I'd be the one, saying 'too'."

"Thank goodness," he laughed "I thought I'd ruined things between us for a few minutes there. A few scary minutes."

"Yes! Thank goodness! Finally!" A small black creature flew out from under Adrien's jacket and grabbed Marinette by the nose "You owe me big time! I'll take my payment in camembert cheese, 15 pounds of it." A/n - According to my autosuggest, Plagg wanted his payment in cannabis 😥

"Plagg!" Adrien yelled "What could she possibly owe you for? She's never met you before!"

"For disturbance of a kwami's peace!" Plagg squished Marinette's nostrils together as the girl watched wide-eyed. "Every time he'd come home after being rejected by you, I'd have to listen to him whining about how it was going to be better the next time or when he finally knew who she was under the mask. Well he knows now, so maybe I can finally get some peace!"

Marinette blinked, she had no idea she could have that effect on Adrien. "Sorry! I knew you never, I mean, I didn't think Chat were..." She continued, nose forcibly plugged, until her own kwami came to her rescue, pushing Plagg away.

"Don't worry about it, Mari, Plagg just can't handle seeing love."

"Tikki! We've been through this before, despite what you like to tell people, I'm not anti love. In fact, I wish these two would hurry up and fall in love already!"

Adrien and Marinette both blushed hard at the kwami's blunt suggestion, but neither they nor Tikki were able to get a word in edgewise as the bringer of destruction continued his tirade.

"It's when humans are in the process of falling in love that they're at their most annoying! Why is it that every time we get new miraculous holders they have to be teenagers?! Why can't we ever get adults that already have their emotions under control? I liked it every time I've had a holder that was in love. Then he or she talks to his or her girlfriend, boyfriend, wife, husband, or whatever they have, and don't expect me to act as their counselor any more. It's a good deal for both of us! As long as it lasts... eventually something happens that makes them give up being Chat Noir, and I get shipped off to another hormonal teenager."

Plagg looked back at Adrien "Otherwise, you're a good kid, but you're one of the worst I've ever heard when it comes to talking about girls."

"You'd better be good to him," he threatened Marinette "this one requires a lot of attention."

Having tired himself out, Plagg yawned and flew back in Adrien's shirt, leaving two bemused teens and a laughing ladybug kwami.
