"Chat, what are you looking at?" Ladybug blushed. It was hard not to when he was looking at her like she was the most beautiful thing he had ever seen.

"Your hair is dark as night."

She blinked as his achingly familiar words pricked at the back of her brain.

"Your bluebell eyes are pretty."

It wasn't the exact words from the poem - but it was close enough to reach out and touch the front of her mind. Tikki had said that she fit the description in Adrien's poem... now Chat was proving it to her.

"I wonder who you are beneath that strong disguise."

Now it was Chat's turn to wonder at the familiar words. "Huh, you wonder who I am? Well if you want to know..."

Ladybug now appeared a little nervous; she hadn't meant to say that line out loud. "No, no, it's just that those first couple lines you said were so close to a poem I once read. I just recited the next line without thinking much about it."

"So you really were the one who responded to my poem!" Chat embraced her. "I've been dreaming ever since that that really was the case. Do you know what that means? You were my Valentine and I never even knew it!"

Ladybug gently extricated herself from Chat so she could back up far enough to look him in the eyes. "Can you recite my poem, Chaton?"

"Of course," he purred. "Your hair shines like the sun, your eyes are gorgeous green, I look at you and wonder your innermost thoughts and dreams. Yes, your Valentine I will be, our love will be so true, together for eternity, my heart belongs to you." He recited her poem to Adrien word for word. By the end she could see his eyes tearing up, but void of any negative emotion. Her heart fluttered, recognizing for the first time the effect she held over this boy. His sweet sincerity, that she hadn't allowed herself to notice before, was simply unavoidable. Maybe, possibly, there was a remote chance he could have made her question her feelings for Adrien - but as it stood, she knew she didn't need to. Only one boy had access to that poem, and she could see both of him now gazing at her with a hopeful smirk. Now that she knew, there was something comical about watching his two personalities blend together.

"Adrien," she blushed, hesitating before continuing her thought without a stutter, "if you want, my heart does belong to you."

"That sounds wonderful to me, M'Lady, but now you know my identity, are you going to show yours to me?"

Truthfully, she had been about to reveal her identity to him. However, she was feeling so powerful at the moment that she decided to play with him - just a bit. "I will, Kitty, next week. You can wait for me, right?" She kissed him too quickly for him to respond and swung away, pleased with herself for what she had pulled.

He watched her as she left, feeling frustrated, and giddy, frustrated, and giddy.

A/n - The way he throws his poem in the trash and gets a response to it, does it make anyone else think of Jane and Michael's specifications for a nanny from Mary Poppins.?
