Chapter 50:

Sams pov

I wake up to a heart beat. I'm laying on Shawn's bare chest as he still sleeps his arms are wrapped around me and everything feels perfect . I guess you can say we made it up to each other last night . I see his phone flashing .

I look over and I see his mother calling . He stirs in his sleep. I look at my phone as it begins to ring with his mother lighting up the screen what's going on.

I reach for my phone but Shawn stops me.

"Noooo stay" he kisses my shoulder up to my neck

"No Shawn  I think there's something wrong your mom keeps on calling "

"Answer" he shrugs.

"Hello" I answer the phone .

"I'm so sorry!!!" I hear crying her voice is all muffled.

"What's wrong?"

She mumbles her words "ms. Mendes I can't understand what you're saying , stop crying"

Shawn heads snaps my direction grabbing the phone out of my hands.

"Mom! What's wrong?"

I watch him stand up pacing around. "Mom I can't understand you you're scaring me stop crying" I watch as he pulls his hair.

Then I hear loud banging on the door. Shawn and I look at each other confused.

We here the banging again "POLICE OPEN UP!!!" My heart starts racing . Shawn pulls  on a shirt and throws one at me to get dress.

I pull on the shirt over my bare body stumbling to find my shorts.

I get dressed and walk out to the living room Shawn is trembling. "No how could you let this happen go find my fucking child!"

"We have to wait for the 24hr mark-"

"No!" Shawn lunges at the officer in charge.

"Shawn stop!" I pull his arm as a few officers hold him back
"What's going on?" I ask scared and confused

"Ma'm I'm sorry to say but your husbands daughter has been kidnaped" the words weren't registering this is words that you never want to hear.

"Wha- what no no no no no!" My head is spinning .

"When ? Where? Why?!" I can bearly see through my tears.

"At the mendes House there appeared to be a break in some time around 5 am we don't have a motive but it could be anyone you guys are the face of Hollywood"

The police left about and hour ago were at the mendes trying to figure out what's going on

"Hey look at me, we are going to find her" I pull him into a long hug.

I know she's alive and I know it's Camila . I told the police that's our number one suspect Shawn doesn't think so.

"I don't how what happen the alarms didn't even go off I just heard the window break" his mom sobs as his father comforts her.

"It wasnt your fault" I comfort them .

"I just don't want Shawn to hate us"

I wonder off to find Shawn I see him in the room with the twins. Holding our little prince in his arms. He's feeding him pacing around the room.

"Hey" I walk over giving him a hug.

He looks at me so heart broken with glossy eyes.

"Shawn we're going to find her if it's the last thing we do we're going to bring her home" I wipe his tear pressing my lips to his.

We look down at little mendes.

"You never told me what you named them" I look back at Shawn and he shakes his head.

"I didn't , I was waiting for you to wake up so we could name them"

My heart sped up "really a whole month?" I felt my tear building . He had that much faith in me .

He handed me our son and i make my way to the rocking chair . "Liam" I say as my son reacts to me looking up . It was such a beautiful moment in the midst of the madness. Everything was so emotional.

"Liam mendes" Shawn says sitting beside me with our little girl in his arms.

"I like Melanie" he shrugs I look at him smiling small.

"Me too"

We enjoy the moment until they fall asleep . We get them dressed and pack a bag.

"What's the next step?" Mr mendes asks nervously

I look at Shawn.

"You guys are going to stay at our house we have lots of security there , stay with the twins. I'm going to go look for Amelia I can't wait around until the cops are ready" he says firmly strapping Liam into his car seat.

I do the same with melani and we carry them to the car.

we drive to the house and help them upstairs .

"I want you guys to stay in the room with the twins" the day couch folds into a bed" he says his parents agree as I follow shawn into our room.

I watch him him get into the shower. He hasn't said much to me I step into the shower with him. But something was wrong he wouldn't turn around he kept his back turnt . I rested my head on his back and I can feel him shaking . I step infront of him so we were face to face. His hair dripping wet and eyes blood shot red. I hold on to him tightly for 5 minutes straight before we finish the rest of our shower .

I put on my undergarments and a T-shirt and hop into bed. I wait for him to join but he puts on jeans and a t shirt sitting on the bed to slide one his vans .

"Where are you going baby is 1am?" I ask

"I can't just sit here and do nothing I  can't sleep I'm going to find Amelia" he grabs a bag and stuff clothes in it.

"I'm going with you" I say standing up

"NO! I don't want you to get hurt .... again"

"Amelia is my daughter too" I argue pulling on some sweats .

"I just got you back sam I can't lose you again" he pulls me in for a hug

"I'll be okay stay here"  my eyes water

"NO Shawn you're not leaving me!" I scream at him

"I'm serious my decision is final YOU ARE STAYING" he says firmly grabbing his bag but I pull it away from him.

"Samantha stop it !" He yanks the bag and something falls out of it.

I look down at the ground my heart begins to race.

"Why do you have this?!" I pick it up of the ground . He reaches for it but I step back.

"Sam please be careful it's loaded" he reaches slowly.

I step back  "you didn't answer me , why do you have a gun Shawn!" I frown

"To protect our family"

"Where did you get it from ?" I ask

"Sam please!" He takes it away from me stuffing it in his bag walking away.

"Im Afraid!" I plea

He turns and looks at me eyes soften. "I don't want to lose you Shawn this whole thing is tearing our family apart" I sobb.

"No baby don't be scared" he drops his bag pulling me into his tight embrace.

"I love you and I'm doing the for us  I'm not leaving you I'm keeping you safe" he kisses my forehead before officially leaving .
