Bad Reputation (Shawn Mendes) complete

Chapter 40:

"Okay well I'm going to head home I'll take Amelia off your hands for the night you guys need to sort things out"

"You told her!?" He yells at me annoyed

"I'm sorry" I say frown sitting on the couch

"Don't yell at her , I asked she didn't tell me anything I have two children you don't think I can tell when someone is pregnant?" She ask.

He sighs "I'm sorry for yelling at you"
He takes a seat right next to me.

His mom quickly leaves with Amelia and we sit in silence.

"Why didn't you just tell me?" He finally speaks .

" because I was scared -"

"Scared of what?" He struggles to keep his voice down.

"Scared of losing you Shawn, it literally hasn't even been a year since you found out about Amelia . You even said it yourself it's difficult having a child"

" that doesn't mean I don't want anymore and having another child won't change the way I feel about you "

"I just didn't want to complicate your life I thought if I got the abortion no one would know and our lives would continue being regular"

"Our life is everything but regular and you of all people should know that of all people , it stop being regular a long time ago. Having a baby with you would mean the world to me. It is a surprise don't get me wrong but I would never ask you to terminate our child. we'll figure something out,..... we always do. It is sudden to have another when I just found out I have one but I wouldn't tell you no. Just promise me next time you'll come to me first about anything please"

"I promise" he pulls me into a tight hug.

"For the record I did notice you were gaining weight" he laughs and I hit his shoulder.

"How far along are you?"

"8 weeks" his eyes widen

"8 weeks, Jesus" he rubs his hand through his hair .

"Yup" it gets akward quickly.

Just then his phones rings and he sighs before answering it "give me a minute"

He steps out and I continue to watch the tv wrapped in my blanket with my boys .

Something catches my eye between the couch I pull it out and it's Shawn's old song book.

I flip through it to see one dated that had a recent date I read the title 'Bad Reputation'

She got a bad reputation

"Still snooping through my book aye?, I guess somethings never change" he jokes sitting next to me with his piano and guitar.

"I guess not" I shrug holding in my tears.

"whats wrong sam?"

"is this song about me?" I hand him the book

he looks up at me before leaning over to give me a passionate kiss. "yes it is, and I wrote it to let the world know that I dont care what they say about you, because I love you regardless baby. We have both been through alot but noone knows the actual truth but us they only see what we show them or what the media depicts us as"

I pull him into a long hug before pulling away "thank you shawn" he smiles kissing my cheek

" your welcome just remember that i will always love you no matter what"

I begin to strum random cords until I settle on one then I hear shawn playing the piano but I don't stop I continue then he starts singing the song he wrote to me . His voice is filled with so much emotion and it warms my heart.

"That was amazing Shawn" I look at him lovingly.

"Thanks baby your such a good inspiration " he smiles flipping through his note book to write the chords down. 

The dogs attack me all at once licking and howling. They only do this when they're hungry I get up to feed the dogs.

"Come on jax eat" i kneel to her size she lays by her bowl howling . I rub her head "Shawn something's wrong with jax"  jax is the youngest we got her about a year and a half ago.

"I took her to the vet and I wanted to tell you but we got caught up" he says walking up to me

"Look you guys are in the same boat " he hands me an envelope I raise a brow opening the envelop as Shawn walks away.

My jaw drop "she's pregnant" I look at her laying on her side. She has been gaining weight . I rub her stomach feeling the hardness instead of her usual soft stomach.

"Yup a month and a half " I stand up walking into the room to get a blanket .

"I thought she was just gaining weight" i laughs

"Nope our baby is having babies of her own soon . I notice her throwing up and I thought she was just sick so I took her to the vet" he shrugs

"How soon?" I ask calling jax over "come here baby , come jax " I whistle and she walks over to me.

"In about a week" he shrugs

"What ?!" I say in disbelief. I fold my blanket on the floor so it's comfy for her to rest on. I don't use it anyways she can have it.

"Yea dogs deliver between 58-68 days , jax is about 50 doctor said she may come early" he sits down beside me on the ground rubbing her head as she licks his hand.

"I can't believe" I frown. "Jace or jasper?" I cringe at the thought they're supposed to be siblings.

"I honestly don't know " Shawn shrugs "if they are brown jace , black jasper" I sigh rubbing her stomach in disbelief. "She's a German shepherd she's going to have beautiful babies"

"Speaking of beautiful babies" shawn smiles "I have another appointment coming up next week nine week check up" I smile

"Everything is going so fast" he smiles Over at me .

" I know " I agree .

Suddenly Jace steps over me to cuddle with jax.

"Guess it's jaces babies" I smile kissing his head as he licks my mouth. "Eeeee" I screech as Shawn laughs.
