Chapter 43:

-5 months later
Sam pov

So much has happened with these months.
The puppies have gotten so big . I'm ready to pop any minute although my due date is in a few weeks .

Shawn and i finally found the house of our dreams. We still live in Toronto . It's huge , and Amelia is getting taller each day.

"Babe come here" I walk into the nursery. I see Shawn holding up a shelf "you want it right here ?" He ask and I nod in approval

The nursery is just about finished all that's missing is our son. Shawn still doesn't know what gender only I know .

We've had our baby shower but tonight we're having one gigantic dinner in our humongous backyard for our gender release party.

"Outside is ready " He shouts

"Okay give me a second " I stand at the door frame looking at the empty picture frame on the wall I wonder how he will look.

"Babe ready?" I snap out of it

"Yea let's go" I smile feeling jasper snake his head under my hand.

"Hey jasper , hi baby" I play with him as he lay on his back wagging .

"Let go outside boy" I whistle for him to follow.

I still miss jax every time I look at the puppies I want to cry.  I see them playing outside with Jace they're so big.

I bring the lemonade out placing it on the table .

Soon enough everyone is here Amelia insist on wearing a white dress like me. Stealing my shine just a tad bit but she's off playing with the other children.

My mom finally arrives I see her in her high heels frowning at the grass beneath her. I roll my eyes she's so dramatic we have a tiled path way.

"Hi mother , hi davvy" I say hugging my bother

"Where is Theo " I ask "where's my niece and my sister in law " I frown

"Relax they are coming out of the car" my mother says in a rude tone. 

I frown Amelia runs up to me "hey princess this is grandma " Amelia goes to hug her but my mother hesitates before watching Everyone look at her my mom lives for attention.

"Hi Amelia " she says in a happy tone I can tell it's fake but it look believable to everyone else. She put her down quickly and whispered to me "I have one grandchild and one on the way I don't need another one so stop adding her " she smiles politely at me as Shawn's mother approaches her .

"How are you?" His mother ask pulling my mother into a quick hug

" I'm doing well can't wait to see my grandchild" she fake smiles walking away with her.

I frown looking down at Amelia as she runs to Dave.

"What's wrong ?" I feel an arm on my waist I turn and see Shawn .

"I'll tell you later " he frowns at me.

"Hey sammy" theo hugs me holding my niece who just turned 2 .
